life as a shadow part 2

where are they? where could they have gone? are they safe? did they abandon me!?! I felt tears streaming down my face. I looked out the window, and the sky matched my emotions perfectly. it was as if the whole sky were crying with me! I was scared, and needed someone to talk to me and comfort me, so I called my brother Austin to come over. he got here very quickly. "What's wrong sis?" he said passionately. I told him everything that happens, then I said, "should we tell Grason?" "well, that might be the best thing to do." I really don't feel like Grason cares about me unless there's a problem, then he will step up and be a hero to get attention. "He's here." Austin said. Grason came in and looked around the house with Austin. then about 2 minutes later he sent Austin out of the house so he could look by himself. I know the real reason why though. He knows that if there were any evidence inside the house, Austin would find it first because he is much more smarter than Grason. then he would no longer be a hero and some of the credit would go to Austin. then Grason would lose attention. he's just greedy, the only reason why he came was to get attention. but anyway. while I'm looking around the side of the house, out of the corner of my eye I noticed a little book. I turned around and picked it up. it read Destiny's journal. this could be a clue! I thought to myself. so I judged it of and noticed some flashing words on it. it said put your password here. of course, I remember now! momma had a password activated journal! but... what could her password be? I thought. then on the back of the journal I saw a note. it said, "My dearest children, I am not with you now because me and Angel have been taken. you will find all the answers to everything like my approximate location and who took us and so on. but you must first unlock my journal with a password. at the back of this page I have written some clues. guard this journal carefully, and please send help. And be very strong and courageous for me. I have made sure that only one of our family can find out this password. and when you do find it out, no who who is not in our family is to know anything about this. "

should I tell Grason? he's not good at keeping secrets... but mom would have wanted him to know...

okay, my mind is made up! I'm telling him. I just hope he keeps this secret...

"what'd you want sis?" Austin said. " I found some clues, but we must keep it between me, you, and Grason."

"okay, I'll go get Grason."

we all sat in a circle and both of them read the letter. "These clues barely make any scence!" Grason said

"well I recognize that name Mary L. Travon. but I can't remember who she is..." I said

" maybe she was one of mom's favorite writers... you know mom used to always read a lot of books."

"maybe we should do some research on her."

"Yeah, that's a good idea we all agreed."

I couldn't believe it, for once, Grason had actually made a useful suggestion. I geusse he's not to greedy.
