The Mountain of Scream

Chapter One

DAVID: This hotel has been closed for many of years.

LAQUSHIA ROSE:[sounding worried] Today is my first day of work. I hope nothing goes wrong.

TASHA LYNN: Don't be scared Laqushia it's going to be fine, If anything goes wrong, call my number and I'll help you.

LAQUSHIA ROSE:[sounding like she was about ready to cry.] Thanks, for a great friend. What would I do without you? You are the only one who understands me, Tasha.

TASHA LYNN: [she said with excitement]I know. Go to work now, before you are late.

[Laqushia leaves the room and Mary Lepree comes in.]

MARY LEPREE: [sounding happy] Hello, Tasha whats new.

TASHA LYNN: Nothing really, just saying goodbye to Laqushia and then going home.

MARY LEPREE: Okay, bye.

TASHA LYNN: [sounding really mad] Bye-Bye.

[Laushia enters the building of her work.

LAQUSHIA ROSE:[sounding as pleased as ever] Wow, this is incredible, I love it!

DAVID MATTHEW: Hello, welcome to the Mountain of Scream. My name is David Matthew, I'm the manger of this fine place. Our boss will show you what to do. By the way, there are stories about this place, but no one dares to read about them. The ones who never get out alive, they just vanish and are never seen again. Be careful, the stories are true. Here and there, the lights go off and on, and the doors shut, and the spirit likes to play tricks on people. The bosses name, is Eli Perry.

[Boss enters the room.]

ELI PERRY: Hello, and welcome to my fine resort. Today, you will be cleaning the rooms and you're going to be getting your own office. Yes, I know what you are thinking. But don't think that you are going to be getting a lot of things today; you're not. All you are going to be doing is, cleaning your office, You will be getting payed one thousand dollars a week. Mountain of Scream has a HUGE HISTORY. Once you figure it out, you will understand. Your part in it, as well as our part in it. . Just in case you are wondering, I'm not going to fire you, I'm not allowed to. Okay, let me show you to your office, Miss Rose.

Narrator:[ Laqushia sounding very concerned.] "Thank you Eli, but how did you know my name though'" Laqushia said. Okay here we go, to my office, when I enter my office I see a photo of me. Why would Eli have a photo of me. What in the world the lights are going off and on. I turn around and there I saw a ghost. I pass out and I fell to the ground.

Narrator:[ It all started in 2067, when this couple of parents and there kids were at Moutain of Scream. The kids were playing on the playground, when they heard something say " come here little

children", the parents were not even paying attention to their kids. Then, the kids went to check it out. There, they had seen the ghost of their mom, telling them to run away and to never turn around. That is when it began. The Mountain of Scream was built on top of a grave yard. It happened to be built during world war three. Ever since then, the ghosts have been trying to hurt people, just like they were treated back in their time. It was shut down because, they were trying to figure out what has been going on at Mountain of Scream. And when they did figure it out, they shut it down only because, they didn't want anyone else to get hurt, due to the ghosts. Mountain of Scream didn't reopen until 2077. The Mountian of Scream has been passed down through generations of boys in the family. Everything calmed down, until Laqushia Rose entered the hotel.]

[ Eli and David entered the room, very stunned to find Laqushia on the ground. They ran to her and layed her down on the couch.

ELI: I hope Laqushia is okay, why is it all starting up again. This needs to stop. I don't want this company to shut it down again.

[Laqushia wakes up and she is surprised]
Laqushia: Oh my goodness, what in the world just happened to me? The one minute I'm in my office and the next I'm here. Can someone please explain to me, why I'm in this room and not my office?

ELI: Do you remember anything?

Laqushia: Yeah I do, but it's not clear.

ELI Okay. Can you tell me what you saw please? It is very important.

LAQUSHIA: Yeah, sure. When I first walked into my office, I had just started to clean. Then, I saw a picture of me, in my office. Next, the lights went on and off like crazy. The ghost, or whatever it was

trying to talk to me. I passed out, and the next thing I know, I'm here, laying down on the couch. What in the world is happening to this place. Can you tell me the history of this place, Please tell me. This is

starting to scare me a lot. I had seen the ghost, or whatever it was. Strangely enough, it looked just like me. Maybe that is why I passed out and I barley remember anything. Eli,David what is happening to me?

ELI: That's what I thought. You are being haunted by your ancestors. They're trying to talk to you, then need you to listen to them. They have something very important to tell you. By the way, you must be a witch or something, because only witches see ghosts, You must have to be very powerful to see them.

DAVID: What in the world are you doing? I thought we weren't going to tell about her being a witch? You have just ruined us all. Laqushia, did you know that you were a witch? I just want to know, because if so, you are in very great danger.

LAQUSHIA: [sounding very mad] I had no clue that I was a witch. What do you mean, that I'm in very great danger? What's going on?

ELI: Okay, do you have someone who can pick you up? You can't stay here, if you do, you will most likely die. Your powers are not welcome here. You're a very nice girl, but I can't fire you. I can see you in my dreams, I can see the future. I knew you were coming, but I didn't know about the ghost. David, has the power as well. He can read peoples mind, so whatever you do, don't lie to him, Trust no one, you can only trust David and myself.

LAQUSHIA: [running off in the distance]Yes I do, but Tashia is at work. If im in danger then, I'm getting out of here. What do you mean, you can't fire me. What are you talking about? Are are you telling me, that there are more like me, like David and myself? I thought that I was the only one. Im leaving, Bye.

ELI: [screaming on the top of his lungs]LAQUSHIA!!!!! Come back here, don't run off. You are going to want help. Laqushia, come back.

DAVID: Good going. She will come back, I know she will, trust me. She has no where else to go to.

ELI: What are you talking about? How do you know she is coming back?

DAVID: Lets just say, that I have another power.

[Laqushia comes running back and something is chasing her]

LAQUSHIA: Get away, before you get hurt, I mean it, get back, I'm more powerful than you think. You're going to lose. Fine have it you're way. This is going to hurt you. I'm speaking another language, only witches understand what I'm staying. Me oh la ca so burn out.

ELI: OH MY GOD, What did we just see David? She is awesome, very powerful as well. Don't get on her bad side David.

DAVID: Since when does she know how use her powers? I thought she had no clue that she was a very powerful witch?

ELI: I don't know David.

[Laqushia runs back to the boys and looks at them mad and then turns away and come back.]

LAQUSHIA: Hello, boys. What just happened to me? I was just crying, then my powers just kicked in. I don't understand how I did that. It's so weird.

[Tashia came pulling up coming to hurt Laqushia.]

TASHIA: I will get you Laqushia, don't think you can run away from me. You can't hide.
