April's POV

Just as Chris said, I stayed in my room all night. He never came up and told me to come out. My room had a big comfy bed with an old fashioned chandlier. For such a stone cold person, he had taste.

I changed into my shorts and a tank top and jumped in bed. I started texting my friend Spencer.'I ran away.'
I got comfortable when my phone buzzed.

'What???'
'I ran away' man some people need to learn how to read.
'Why'
'Adventure awaits,lol'

I didn't get a response after that so I guess he just dropped the convo which was fine by me. It was 3 in the morning and I was so friggen tired.

Chris POV

So what I left her there? I didn't want her next to me at all. I didn't ask for her to be here. But I mean, I did want a partner in crime. She would have to learn the ropes of hanging around me. One wrong move and we would both be busted.

I decided to wake her up early. I was going to take her out give her a feel fit the new area. See how she reacts. When I finally get to the third floor I knock on her door. Of course she doesn't answer, it's like 6am.

When she finally gets up and answers the door I barge in. She stays silent. I look at her. She is on some shorts and a tank top. I guess you could say that I stared at her. She was fine, I guess. But that wasn't the point.

"Get dressed and come downstairs, we are leaving soon." She looks at me.
"No shower? No breakfast?"
I don't know what to do. Did she just talk back to me? I couldn't believe it.

"Did you just talk back to me?"
"As a matter of fact, I did."
"E-excuse me? You don't disrespect me. I could have you killed for all I care." She looks at me.
"Fine, all I'm saying is, I take hygiene really seriously and I need to take a shower and brush my teeth, please."

I didn't want to say yes but I knew she would keep bugging me so I said yes. She rushed into her room and down the hall. "Um, Chris?"
"Yes" I said irritated
"Where's the bathroom?"
"On the second floor to the right."
"Thanks."

After about an hour of waiting, she finally comes downstairs. She looks absolutely gorgeous. But I couldn't say that to her. "What took you so long?"
"Your water was freezing so I had to wait."
"Oh" was all I could say.

"Get in the car"
"But i didn't even get any breakfast" she whines.
"Just get in." She sulks all the way to the black Bugatti and gets in. Fine by me. I get in, put the key in the ignition and pull out. She was going to have the time of her life.

April's POV

As we were driving, I was silent. So was Chris. I didn't want to talk to him at all. He had such a bitter attitude towards me yesterday I gave it to him today. He looked so surprised when I talked back to him this morning. It was amusing.

"Put a seatbelt on girl." Oh look who decided to speak.
"This 'girl' has a name you know" I say as I click my seatbelt.
"I forgot to ask your name. What is it?"
"If you must know, my name is April."
"Ok"

That was the end of the conversation. It stayed dead silent after that. I hoped this drive was over soon. And that was my last thought as I drifted off to sleep.
