Chris POV

When I woke up, I woke up to the smell of eggs and bacon. April wasn't next to me anymore. Ugh, I thought I told her to stay off her foot. She is stubborn as heck.

"Good morning Chris." she said all cheerful. I didn't say anything. I crossed my arms and glared at her. "Oh, come on Chris, it doesn't hurt that bad."

I stood there for a couple more seconds but then got over it and sat down and started eating. "Want more?" she asked smiling. I nodded, I was hungry as I don't know what.

April gave me more and before she walked away I grabbed her arm. "Yes?"
"Thanks for breakfast, April."
She smiled. "Your welcome, and thank you for taking care of my foot."
"Your welcome."

"Hey Chris."
"Yeah."
"How am I supposed to shower with my foot wrapped like this?"
I thought about the answer. I knew what she was going to say but oh well. "You can't take a shower."

She looked at me like I was crazy. Then she started pouting. "Chris." she said. "You know how important hygiene is to me."
"I know I know, but come on its just for one day." I pleaded.

"Fine. What are we doing today."
I smiled. I had wanted to try this for so long. "Wanna go look for birds?" Yeah, I know that sounded crazy but I was planning on having dinner tonight so...

"Uh...sure Chris, why?" Crap. I had to think if an answer. "Birdwatching, it'll be fun." April considered this. "Ok, but how am I going to walk there?"
I had an idea. "Ill give you a piggy-back ride." I smirked

"Ok, let's go then."

April POV

I didn't believe Chris when he said that we were going to go Birdwatching. I mean, who brings a gun and a bow and arrow to go Birdwatching? But I went anyways. He knows how much I love animals.

When we got to the middle of the woods he out me down. "Choose your weapon." he said. I didn't know how to use a gun so I picked the bow and arrow. I loaded an arrow and looked up.

I didn't want to kill anything but hey we gotta eat. A while flock was passing by. I shot the arrow and it hit one. "Yes!" I shouted. Chris fired 5 shots and 3 birds came dropping down.

"Nice!" I said.
"Thanks" he said beaming.
"Is this enough we have four birds?"
He thought about it. "We can go fishing next?"
"Ok, but I wanna se the gun this time."

Chris laughed. "ok"
I hopped on his back and we set off to the river. When we got there he set me down and immediately started looking for fish. I saw one but I didn't know how to use a gun.

Don't judge me. Im 18 . How am I supposed to know how to use a gun?
"Need help?" chris asked
"Yeah"
Chris came behind me and wrapped his arms around me.

I was holding the gun and Chris's hands were on top of mine. "When you see a fish you aim down and pull the trigger, simple enough?"
I nodded. "Im going to try it with you." he said

I saw a fish and Chris guided my hands down. "Ready." He said
"Set."
"Shoot!"
