Because i do have growth
It shoots out in spurts
Green buds blooming
Branches spreading
Rings forming on the trunk
Leaves growing
And falling
And growing again
An old tree
But sometimes
When my tree becomes too tall, too wise and too bold
A hand, my hand
Drags the branches, the roots, the seeds back
And pulls it in
The tree collapses
Erodes
But then i let it go
And it grows again
And that is how i am
But i do grow
