Bonnibel

Tonight's finally the night of the Grand Ball. I've been waiting two whole weeks for it to arrive so I could wear this brand new ball gown Pep Butt has specially picked out for me. I haven't seen it yet because he said it's a surprise, but I'm so excited. I had sent out all the invitations last weeks and I had all the arrangements and what not for the ball done perfectly and on time. I even had Peps call the live band I requested to make sure they'd be here on time tonight. Everything was going to go perfectly and I couldn't be more happy.

"M'lady, I have your dress for the ball." Peps informed me, handing me a black formal dress bag that you'd get from boutiqes and what not. I smiled brightly and thanked him, running upstairs to my room to get ready for the ball.

"Do I really wanna do this? Do I relly want to go to the ball with Bonnie?" I asked myself aloud, pacing my living room in frustration.

If I go, I could spend time with Bonnie and not be cooped up in my house all night. If I don't, Bonnie'll be hurt that I didn't show up like I said I would. I haven't even talked to her in a week because I've been trying to figure out what I really wanna do. I got an outfit to wear, I went out and bought one, so that's not a problem. I'm just so into Bonnie amd I wish that she could see how much I need her. It hurts me every second of the day to be her best friend and pretend that I don't love her when I do, but she doesn't even feel the same way.

"Ughhh!" I groan loudly, going up to my room to shower, deciding that I should go after all.

An hour later, I was buttoning up my dress shirt and putting my grey watch on my wrist. I walked over to my mirror and looked at my outfit, feeling pleased with my white button-up shirt, black slacks, and black dress shoes. Grabbing my vest off the hanger, I slide the bright red vest on over my shirt, buttoning it up, too. I then go over to my bathroom and comb my hair, not really bothering with making it look nice. A few minutes later, I was finally done getting ready and went downstairs to the kitchen. I grabbed a strawberry, sucking the red out of it and tossing it in the trashcan. Picking up the folded up piece of paper that I had scribbled some things onto last week, I shoved it into my pocket and left the house, making my way to the Candy Kingdom.

As I finished my putting my hair into a simple low bun, I placed my crown onto my head and went back into my room. Opening the black dress bag I squealed at the beautiful white dress staring back at me from inside the bag. I pulled it out and put it on, leaving it unzipped in the back because I couldn't reach it. I walked over to my mirror and smiled to myself, falling in love with the dress. The diamond sequins scattered on the strapless top made it sparkle in the light and I loved it. It's a poofy dress at the bottom, but not really too poofy. Just then, I hear a knock at my door.

"Come in." I yell.

My door opens and in walks Peppermint Butler.

"You look absolutely wonderful, m'lady. Would you like me to zip the back up?" he asks.

"Yes, please."

He climbs up onto my bed, standing on it and zipping up the back of my dress.

"Alright, all done. The guests are starting to arrive, should I begin letting them in?"

"Yes, I'll be down in about five minutes."

With a simple nod, Peps leaves, closing the door on his way out. I check myself in the mirror one last time, feeling satisfied with my hair, makeup, and dress. Putting on my silver necklace and my white heels, I turn my room light off and make my way downstairs to the grand hall. When I walk in, I'm instantly greeted by a few of the princesses from the other kingdoms and a good number of suitors who hardly know me, but wishes to have my hand in marriage.
