Chapter 11

Well today is the day that JT's mom comes down. I'm really not nervous about it because I'm the Queen of this castle. The fact that she's staying for an entire week is what got me.

"Babe, I'm going to pick Ma up from the airport I'll be right back." JT said

I nodded and went about my business. I cleaned up a little so I wouldn't have to hear anything, I know she's gonna have something to say about the changes I've made to the house.

About 30 minutes later the two of them came through the door. She was a short old lady and damn she was ugly. Lord forgive me she's gonna be my mother in law one day.

"Ma this is Corey, Corey my mom, Janice." Jonathan said

"Pleasure to meet you." I say smiling

"The pleasure is mine sweetheart" she replied pulling me in for a hug

Maybe this won't be so bad after all. We got her settled and we talked for the longest time. She finally broke away from the convo by asking if I mind if she cooks dinner for us.

"No ma'am I don't mind at all, help yourself." I say

I followed Jonathan upstairs while she started dinner.

"This is going better than I thought." JT said walking towards me

"What you thought was gonna happen?" I asked

"Well she's usually not to fond of my girlfriends she tries and always seems to find a to run them off." he said

"Umm I'm not worried, I'm here to stay." I say kissing him passionately

He's on hard after that little kiss haha.

"You might wanna handle that in your pants before you go back downstairs." I said laughing and grabbing him

"You'll be handling it tonight while you playing" he said grabbing at my cat

"I don't think Ms. Janice would like that very much." I say

"I'm grown she can't tell me shit" he said

"We'll see about that." I say walking back downstairs

Today is Monday and it's 8 o'clock so you already know what that means. I turned the tv on and put it on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta this is my show. Mimi gone have me trying the shower rod move with JT.

After that went off the food was done so we went in the dining room. She made barbecue chicken, macaroni and cheese, greens, and cornbread.

"I missed your good food Ma" JT said digging in

We ate in silence because that's what black people do when the food is good.

"Corey you and my mama should spend some time together tomorrow and get to know each other a little more while I'm working." Jonathan said

"That's sounds like a lovely thing to do." Ms. Janice replied looking my way

"Yeah, sure why not?" I say

I knew JT stupid self was gonna do something like this, but it's ok her old ass won't be getting rid of me no time soon so she might as well scratch the tricks that she has up her sleeve...
