Chapter 12

Well JT's mom and I decided that we were going to go to the mall and nail salon today.

On our way she started asking me all kinds of stupid questions. Wondering why I'm with Jonathan and if I'm just here to take his money.

I hope this woman knows by now that I'm not going anywhere. Her acting crazy is not gone make Corey leave.

"I'm in love with Jonathan and he doesn't give me anything I can't give myself." I say to her

"Well I'm just making sure because young girls like you think y'all are slick trying to come into my baby's life and drink him dry!" she said

I rolled my eyes and kept driving. We decided to go to the nail spa in the mall. While I'm in the chair getting my full set she comes and sits beside me.

"Jonathan don't like no long nails on a woman." She said

"Look, these are my nails and Jonathan is my man so I don't need any advice from you mama bear. Besides, he loves it when I scratch his back if you know what I mean." I replied

"Girrrrl you better watch your mouth!" she said

I need to hurry up and get out of here before this woman drives me crazy. We wrapped that trip up quickly and headed back to the house.

I grabbed JT something to eat on the way back to show this woman I take care of my man.

Jonathan was in the living room waiting on our, I mean my arrival when we got back.

"How'd it go ladies?" He asked

"Um, I brought you back your favorites. I knew you would be hungry." I say back

"Thank you baby, see this is why I love this girl." JT said

"I'm going up to take a shower I'll wait on you JT." I said

*Nobody's POV*

"I do not like that disrespectful girl Jonathan! You deserve bigger and better." JT's mom said

"Mama she's perfect for me, plus you don't like anybody." JT said

"Well she better fix her attitude if she wants me to like her, you don't need to be stuck with her!" she said

"I love her attitude, and I don't think I would mind being stuck with her for the rest of my life... I think I'm going to propose to her soon." JT said

"I knew I shouldn't have moved and left you by yourself. You done gone crazy picking up hoochie mamas off the street and tryna wife em up!" said Janice

"You're wayyy out of line! Mama I think you forgot where you was before Dad found you..." J said walking off
