2 and a half weeks later...
We were walking into the church, I was wearing a black dress that went down to my feet. Cody was wearing just a normal tux... "Cody you alright..?" I said, he didn't say a word... every thing was so depressing and as soon as we sat down he started crying, "why did it have to be us..?" He looked at me with tears in his eyes. "Why did we have to be the kids to get our mom murdered and dad just go missing?" He looked mad but he was sadder then he was angry, I could tell. I was speechless, I didn't know what to say. were in the front row, I didn't get it... why would you put the people that would miss the person the most in the front? Just so they can get a close up on the one they lost?
By the time the funeral was over every one was crying, "I'm sorry for your loss." Said the priest as me and Cody walked out the door.. we didn't even look up at him, we just stared at the ground and rushed by. "Would you like a ride home?" Our uncle terry asked, "sur-" "no thanks..." I was rudely cut off by Cody, he didn't seem to wanna talk to any one.
When we got home Cody ran up to his room and I sat at the computer desk. I turned on the computer and started messaging kamz, my boyfriend.

"Just got back from my moms funeral... it was depressing, every one was crying."

I turned off the computer and walked into the kitchen, suddenly the ground started shaking. "ALAYNA EARTH QUAKE!!!" He yelled running into the kitchen. pictures fell off the walls, and things fell off tables. I heard glass breaking. "CODY WHAT DO WE DO?!" I yelled over all the sounds we were hearing. "HOW SHOULD I KNOW?!" He yelled back "YOUR THE OLDER ONE YOU SHOULD KNOW BECAUSE I SURE AS HELL DONT" we ran around the house having no idea what to do, we met up at the stairs to the basement and started yelling again. "LOOK IT UP!!" He yelled at me, "SINCE WHEN DO I HAVE TIME TO D-" and all of a sudden I fell... it felt like some thing shoved me. Cody reached for my hand but it was to late...
