Cody reached for my hand... but he was to late.. "AYA" he yelled, I stared at him as I fell. "It's not over.." I mumbled, but I don't think he heard me. Then there was a sharp pain in my back, and when I opened my eyes I was in a dark room...
Lights turned on and I was in some sort of glass tank. "Cody..?!" I yelled trying to break the glass. Then my feet got cold... the tank was filling with water, the glass was thick and there was a cover over the top. I screamed and punched the glass until I was bleeding, the water was about up to my knees by then. It was filling up kinda slow... but the damned glass didn't even have a scratch. I backed into the glass as tears streamed down my face... blood dripping off my hands into the water. Was it over? I closed my eyes and took a deep breath... trying not to burst out crying. Then I heard a loud scrapping sound behind me. I turned around and my eyes jerked opened, on the other side of the glass was a monster. It looked half human half demon. It was terrifying, I couldn't help but scream. It was trying to break the glass, the water was up to my neck. I took a deep breath as the water filled the rest of the tank... was the monster trying to help..? Or trying to break the glass to kill me itself? The water started turning red from my blood...
Cody's POV
"ALAYNA GET UP" I was screaming as I shook her, this couldn't be happening. I couldn't believe I was about to lose my whole family in just one year. I soon started crying and I couldn't even tell if she was breathing any more.. She was in a puddle of blood... I have no idea what she landed on.. all I know is her hearts still beating.
Alayna's POV
The glass started cracking... that monster didn't seem like it was giving up any time soon... I couldn't hold my breath for much longer.. the water was cold.. I closed my eyes... I knew it was over...

My mom is brushing my hair... "mommy Justin is bullying me at school again... I wanna move schools"

I opened my eyes... the water was so clear... all the blood was gone.. every thing was blurry... and I lost my breath...

"No you don't honey" my mom said putting the brush down. "I give up mommy! He's so rude!! I just give up.!!!" I yelled "don't give up!" My mom said hugging me.

Cody was at the finish line... I was passing people... my heart was pounding and so was my head... "cmon aya you can make it!!" He yelled... and I ran into is arms and hugged him tight... he hugged back... I won...
