You sat up in your seat, and watched the road, sand listened to Ian and Max getting excited in the back, and even Anisa at one point. I guess we were all excited to get to eat something other than snacks, and look at something other then the car interior. "Ok where should we eat at?" George asked.

Max yelled to the front " dunkin donuts! " George looked concerned for a minute, "what if there is no donuts?" he carefully asked Max " if there's no donuts, I'm going to lose it!"

Max screeched. As George drove into the town, y/n and Ian argued with Max about choosing another location, or backup place to eat.

They decided on anything that wasn't fast-food. It was a big city, or town in never saw any sign but figured they were in some city, maybe. They had one big street that went through town, and lucky for them all the food places there had lined up along the road.

They had everything they could ask for. ( except a dunkin-donuts ) it was a difficult choice, picking a restaurant to eat at, but by a vote Mexican food was picked. George did a U-turn, and pulled into the parking lot.

Which was not as packed as y/n thought. "Maybe it was because lunch was over?" she didn't know, or care. They walked into the restaurant and the lady at the counter, lead them over to a booth. Everyone ordered a drink, and finally relaxed. "I never thought we'd make it this far" Anisa admitted, breaking the comfortable silence.

Ian laughed, "I thought y/n would have jumped out of the car a long way back." you laughed as well " I would have, if Max had been awake for the majority of the ride, and if George had not taken over, I would have gone crazy." the table laughed, and went back to a chit chat, about the strange things they had seen or heard along the trip, until now.

Max had seen a truck full of dog beds, or half full because they were flying out. He had seen them on the other side of the road, but only got a glimpse.

Anisa hadn't been looking; she was on her phone, for the entire trip or it felt like that at least. Ian didn't see anything strange, but did see a few elderly people.

But the conversation stopped once the food arrived. And once again there was silence, but happy silence.

It had been about an hour and a half since everyone ate, and had left the town. Or city, y/n never found out where they were. And as of now the trip had just started to get fun; Ian had started a game of truth or dare, but car version.

Which was almost dangerously too fun, you could hardly see the road you were laughing so hard. And back at the restaurant, you and George had swished seats again, because you felt ready to drive some more. After truth or dare, Anisa started arguing with Max about some controversial topic which ended very shortly after it became a roast fest.

And now, in present times it was just site seeing, and listening to music. " hey y/n, what's the time?" Max asked. "Oh, umm its..." you looked down at the time "2:54" George said quickly. " hey" you looked over at him " is your name y/n? Yeah I thought not" you turned your head in Max's direction.

"Its 2:54 Max" and turned back in your seat, and looked smugly at George. He put his hands up in front of him, as if in surrender. You heard Anisa and Ian laugh.

"So what time are we stopping to sleep?" Anisa asked, after she was done with her giggles. "Really?" you asked "it's not even evening yet" you raised your eyebrows, and looked into the rear view mirror. "Plus" you added "you've been sleeping all day practically." " she's got a point" Max said from the back. "I'm just tired of being in this car for so long.
