If Not A Prisoner, Why The Cuffs

Ben's P.O.V

  "I see you have a sense of humor.
Most would just gripe and complain until they got their way, but not you. Why is that?" I ask my Rey.

  "I don't actually mind to much being in your arms, just as long as your not on top of me. But your warm, and it just feels right to be close to you." She replied.

  She might not admit to it, but I think she actually has a soft spot for me some where way deep down. I'm glad that she likes being in my arms, because that's where she is going to spend the rest of her life. I love her and if anyone tried to hurt her, they would die.

  "Soooooooo...... where are we going?" My queen asked me.

  "Back to the new Supreme Command Shuttle. Since the last one kinda got sliced in half." I replied and she just nodded.

  I started to comb my fingers through her hair, which kinda smelled like sand. I liked that her hair smelled natural rather than some high end shampoo.

Rey's P.O.V

  I fell asleep again while Ben played with my hair. I liked the way he held me close to his chest. I think I'm slowly but surely falling for him. Don't judge me. Ben is his soft side. Kylo Ren is just his dark side that Snoke had forced upon him. Ben was sweet and caring, while Kylo Ren was rough and spiteful.

   I fell asleep with these thoughts running through my mind. I wasn't asleep long, before I felt someone shaking me awake. I opened one eye and saw Ben standing over me gently shaking me.

  "Come on, Rey. Wake up." He said, sounding like he had fallen asleep too.

  "Whhhhhyyyyyy?" I whined, hating having to get up and move when I was fresh out of sleep.

  "Because, it would look weird for me to carry you through the ship when they don't know you aren't a prisoner. Plus they would think I'm soft and try to over throw me. So come on." Was Ben's answer.

  I got up and stretched as far as I could with the cuffs on.

  "If I'm not a prisoner, then why do I have force cuffs on?" I asked with a lot of sass in my voice.

  "Because you will have to earn their trust on board this ship." He answered with his voice back to being guarded and without emotion.
