During my first year, there was this one thing I found oddly amazing: how Natasha Christy could be so popular in her second year.

Not only that she's kind and easy to talk with, she has the looks to rival a celebrity. Angelic voice coming out of that cherry red lips, everyone fell for her the instant they saw her. Smooth purple hair and gentle ocean blue eyes, she was the definition of perfection. Her sensual body sending off dominating sex appeal could cause nosebleed on the boys.

It's unfair, isn't it? It's as if God worked His best on her.

That's why everyone called her the "Queen." The instant they saw her, they would be falling for her regardless of being the same gender.

A young woman with looks of a noble and a personality as kind as an angel-- she was simply a goddess.

Even when she was walking, students would quietly make a way in the middle of the corridor for her and started squealing as if they were looking at a real idol. Like that time when she was passing by the 1st year's corridor during recess and stopped by my class. She asked one of the students nearby the class that has a high possibility to be a student of this class. I watched the male student shuttering "yes" as he walked his way to my table.

"The Queen is looking for you, [Y/N]," he informed flatly, trying to hide the blush on his cheeks after being asked to do a favour by the senior.

I thanked him for the information and walked outside where I saw Christy leaning her back to the wall beside the class door.

"Hello, [Y/N]," she showed me her sincere smile, "I am here with the Art Club leader's request: please inform all the first-years that club activities will start on 3 o'clock in the evening due to his schedule. Looks like Yao Jia has an important matter to take care of, and it also happened that the vice president had to stay after class for extra lesson from a teacher. He also apologized for the bother and I, too, should apologize for disturbing you during recess. You may continue eating your lunch."

"A-ah, it's nothing! Really," I shuttered and averted my gaze away due to the shock of directly talking to the Queen just after a few weeks of attending this school. "Thank you for the info, I'll be sure to do as Yao Jia requested. Should I ask for the Broadcasting Club's help or...?"

"It's all up to you, [Y/N]. Well then, I'll be going back, thank you for your time." She turned around and walked away, upstairs to the 2nd year's floor.

..And that day, I became the gossiping matter.

"Life is boring," that's what I used to think.

I was born and raised in a normal family, attending not-so outstanding public schools, having a little brother, as what you'd expect from someone not special like me in particular.

However, one difference between me and other students my age changes 99% of my ordinary life.

Unlike the other students of my age, I'm specialized in archery and exorcism. I became an exorcist because of this ability to be able to see ghosts and spirits inherited from my grandfather. Of course, many ghosts hate me, but at least my popularity at school and the exorcism business is above average.

Back then when I was in Japan, I found life so boring and dull. Nothing special happens, nothing extraordinary appears before me, so it's me who has to chase for it.
