Aaron choked on sobs when he woke up. He had yelled at his love of his life, only for telling him that they couldn't be together. Aaron had a longing(A/N: nOT SEXUAL LONGING *cough*) for Theodosia, and he exploded on her.

There was a knock on the door. "Co-Come in!" The man got up and unlocked the door, afterwards plopping down on the bed once again. Thomas opened the door, looking at Aaron.

"Hey, Aaron, come downstairs. Someone wants to meet you." Thomas said, "Oh, and don't forget to make it look like you weren't balling your eyes out," The other male turned away and walked back downstairs.

Aaron sighed and got off his bed. He quickly headed to the bathroom that was across the hall. He stared at the mirror, God, he really did look like a mess. Aaron washed his face, looking into the mirror after. At least I look better. Aaron thought to himself.

The male headed down the stairs. He entered the living room, seeing Theodosia and another man. Is this her boyfriend? Aaron asked himself.

Theodosia looked at Aaron. "Aaron, nice to see you again!" She headed over to him and wrapped the vampire into an embrace. Aaron looked over Theodosia, seeing the male she was with talking to Thomas.

Theodosia let go. She grabbed Aaron's arm and headed over to the man. "Aaron, this is James Madison. James Madison, Aaron Burr." She let go of Aaron.

Madison held out his hand. Aaron hesitantly shook it. He looked at Thomas, seeing a small bit of jealousy on his face. Aaron released his own hand.

"Why am I here?" Aaron asked in a small voice. "I mean, Lee isn't here, so why do I have to be here?"

Thomas sat down. "Well, you are the one who Theodosia went on a date with. Might as well bring you here after you've been locked in your room for two days."

Burr's mouth formed an 'o' shape. "Two days?! I've been asleep for two damn days?!"

Thomas nodded. "Yeah, you have. Theodosia said that she's missed you and is really sorry."

Aaron looked over at the woman, but she turned her head. He went over to her, touching her shoulder lightly, but Theodosia flinched away.

"I'm sorry, Theo," The man choked out. "I just lost my temper and.. and—" Aaron was cut off by Theodosia putting a finger to Aaron's lips.

"Shhh," She said in a whisper. "It's fine. I understand since you're a.. y'know."

Theodosia wished to say more, but was interrupted by a pissed off Thomas Jefferson. The two turned to Thomas.

Thomas sighed. "God, can't you two get a room? Seems like soon you two are going to be fucking each other soon."

The pair blushed. Aaron nodded and grabbed Theodosia's arm, leading her up to his room. In there, they talked. They talked about their lives, understanding each other better.
