Beginning pt.2
Kratos and Aries have set out on there way to Helios City. Aries "so what's in Helios that will make me stronger". Kratos "the power to make you a god". Aries "aren't I already a god". Kratos "just because you carry the blood of a god it doesn't make you a god. You have to earn the title and power". Aries "but I already have my own kingdom, and the people refer to me as the god of mercy and I'm stronger than most of the people on this planet". Kratos "and you let this get to your head you are too confident, you are strong, but stronger than most on the entire planet, no, and also if you were a god dont you think your father would have given you a kingdom in Olympus instead of here". Aries "way to crush my confidence, if this power is here why dont you use it". Kratos "because this is already your power". Aries "and how do you know it's not for any of those guys that are stalking us". Kratos "because they are a part of the power already, they are the guardians". A few Flame monsters come out from hiding. Aries "welcoming party". Kratos "dont underestimate them". The flame monsters that now surround the two all fire at Aries and Kratos. Aries jumps high into the air out of the way while Kratos summons a wall of water pushing back the fire (rage of poseidon). Aries takes out his two short sword and cuts some of the atronarchs, but his blades aren't able to cut them his sword just phases through them. Kratos "use your haki on your swords if you want to cut them". Aries "seems legit". But before he could do anything Kratos summons a group of black snake like creatures that completely wipe out the atronarchs(lost souls). Aries "strong bastard". Kratos "you need to save your strength for the big fight, I'll handle the small guys". Aries "great I dont like fighting weaklings any way". Kratos "keep that in mind". Aries "so where is this almighty power". Kratos "up there" (he points to mt. Helios). Aries "we have to climb that". Kratos "yes is that a problem". Aries "yes, believe it or not I'm a little scared of heights". Kratos "you are a disgrace". They begin climbing, and encounter some more fire monsters along the way. Aries "how big is this thing we've been climbing for hours". Kratos "its only been about 30 minutes". Aries "go on without me I'll only slow you down". Kratos "I'm going to kill you if you don't climb faster". Aries "which is worse my un-manly fear of heights or my un-manly fear of you". Aries can see that Kratos is getting agitated. Aries "ok I'm climbing". They approach the top. Aries "I finally made it I conquered my fear". Kratos "after I carried you half way here". Aries "thank you for your kindness". Kratos "come on into this cave". They enter the cave only to be greeted by a giant fire monster. Aries "you got this one too". Kratos give me 5 minutes". The monster unleashes a giant fire blast on kratos. Kratos "is that all you've got". Kratos begins to swing his swords around above his head creating a tornado. That swallow the monsters flames andalmost instantly destroys the it. Aries "when did you learn that spell". Kratos what are you talking about I didn't use magic just now". Aries (thinking to himself) "I need to start taking him more serious, he just created a tornado with his strength alone". A white bird flies in and lands on the arm of a women coming from the back of the cave. Women "kratos how nice it is for you to stop by, and lay waste to all my guards". Kratos "they attacked first". Women "well obviously that means they were trying to keep you out and yet here you are anyway, I hope what ever you wanted is important because I'm a little more than irritated, from you disturbing my sleep for a second time". Kratos "it's him". Women "ohh great you brought another one, let me guess. He wants to learn the fire magic from the original fire god". Kratos "well actually he sort of didn't I forced him to come, but thats not the reason I brought him here. This is Aisha's son". The women starts to smile a little. women "looks like you brought me something good this time, that man you brought me last time as strong and and cute as he was, he was still of little worth to me since he wasn't able to to take my place as god of fire". Aries "sorry to interrupt but Kratos who is she and what are you two talking about". Women "I'm sorry my dear child, I am White Phoenix the God of Fire and Life, and also your grandma". Aries "well that's cool". Phoenix "is that all, your in the presence of one of the original gods, the strongest and oldest gods, I was here when the planet was first created by the Great God Harumi herself". Aries "seems interesting but none of that would help me become stronger". Phoenix "true, but is that all you care about is power". Aries "I also care about skill, you can be as strong as you want but if you can't use your power then theres no point to it". Phoenix "then let me see your skill before you get your power". Aries draws his sword and charges in full speed only for his path to bs blocked by a wall of fire. He tries to run through it only to be pushed back by another giant fire monster. Phoenix "play with him for a bit". The monster punches the ground near Aries and shatters it, a flame waves comes out aimed at Aries. Aries dodges the wave only to be kicked back by the atronarch. Aries "you are really starting to get on my nerves". Aries draws his swords and slices off the atronarchs left leg. Aries "you think because he's bigger that'll make him stronger, it only gives me a bigger target". The wounded monster tries for one last fire blast, but the moment he points his hand at Aries, Aries cuts his hand in half. Aries "I hope this wasn't a test". Phoenix "no, I just wanted you to play with him while I get your power ready". Phoenix holds out a sword. It begins to float and then it ignites itself in flames. Phoenix "now tell me, why do you want such power? Is it for the sake of power? Or is it to protect the things which a are most precious to you". Aries thinks for a moment until he came up with an conclusion. Aries "I want power so I can gain more power, I want to change the world so that it fits my liking". Phoenix "is this really what you want". Aries "yes, I used to be gentle and caring like my mother, but after fighting in this war I've realized one thing. I love fighting. I love the feeling of destroying my opponents. I love hearing the cries and begs of my enemies, and seeing how the war did this to me you could only imagine how many others must be just like me, who are out there right now looking for any reason to start another massacre, and even though I would give anything to fight another strong opponent and not only defeat him, but also defeat him slowly and painfully in a way that would also crush his spirit, and leave him with an impression of me that could never be erased. Theres a part of me that hates this, and what I've become. Which is why I decided to become the next God of War, and reduce the amount of wars being held". Phoenix "somewhat noble yet selfish, nonetheless these are good reasons to give you your power, but now let me ask you another question, I noticed you mentioned your mom just now, how much do you actually know about her". Aries "from what I've been told, she was a kind caring women, but at the same time she was weak but now I'm starting to doubt that. If she was your daughter theres no way I can believe what I was told". Phoenix "and what were you told". Aries "my father told me that during the war she was kidnapped and held hostage, and killed". Kratos "is that what my brother told you, your mother was stronger than your father, and maybe even stronger than White Phoenix over here. Your father killed your mother, and thats why I attacked your father last time, all though the details around her death I dont know myself". Phoenix "but I do, all the time you've been here you haven't wondered why you don't already have great power. You're the son of the strongest god and a legendary god thats even stronger yet you had the power of an average human and had to go through extreme training to get were you are now, and then come to me seeking more power. Like Kratos said your father killed your mom. After you entered the war, your mother began to notice the evil growing in you, so she took your power and sealed then in this sword in hopes that you wouldn't grow up to be like your dad, and now your uncle has brought you to me so you gain back your god powers, defying your mothers wishes, do you still wish to continue". Aries "yes, I just have another reason to kill dear old dad now". Phoenix places a red feather on the sword, then burns it. From the ashes rises a figure. Phoenix "this is you, and also your power". Aries "what". Phoenix "well this is who you would be if your power was never taken away this is the original you". Aries "so in order to become stronger I'll have to defeat myself". Phoenix "so let the battle begin". Aries "so lets see what I've got". As soon as Aries places his hands on his blades his whole body is covered in a giant flame. Aries "what the hell was that". The other Aries is still standing without never have moved. Aries "that could have killed me if I didn't have my haki up". Aries tries to move in closer but he is soon surrounded by fire again. Aries "how the hell are we supposed fight if you won't even let me get close to you". Aries' takes the bait, and comes in for the attack. Aries "my time to shine". The two clash blades in a series of strikes neither able to hit each other. Aries "I'm tired of playing with you". Aries is able to land a kick on him knocking Aries' down. Aries "when it comes to magic you may be stronger, but speed, skill, and strength you are seriously lacking". Aries' begins to laugh hard . Aries' "this is wonderful, grandma over there only lets me out to get gather food, cook, clean, and other chores, but today I get to fight myself, and not only will this be fun, but once your dead I will become the real Aries, but dont worry I'm still going to kill the old man, but when I become god of war I'll have even more fun starting wars across the world". Aries' ignites his sword on fire. Phoenix "kratos this is about to get really bad, I suggest we both leave". Kratos "but it looks like it's about to get interesting". Aries "so I guess I can get serious now too". The two clash swords once more this time the impact sends out a shock wave that causes the top of the mountain to fall off. Kratos "I think I'll take a few steps back". The two Aries are now fighting at full strength.
