Hospitals to Riele can only be described in one word.

Hell.

So imagine a girl stuck in a hospital room for 6 hours straight.

Sucks.

Riele was bored out of her mind until a lightbulb plopped on top of her head.

Escape.

I need to escape.

I hate hospitals.
I hate blizzards
I hate everything.

But even if I was to escape, Reiya's out of town, I don't have my phone with me right now so no Ubers, Ella can't drive, Cooper's on his vacation, Sean is in Hawaiia for the week and I can't be discharged without a signature what to do, what to do.

Jace

Oh hell no.

My thoughts were interrupted by a high pitched voice.

"Hello, Miss Downs, Sorry to bother you but its been 25 hours and nobody has come to sign you out, but you can call someone on my phone if you wish." The nurse informed me as she grabbed her Iphone out of her pocket.

"Thank you very much" I replied to her.

"Its A-alright, I'll give you a minute" She chirped as she left the room her feet moving a stepwise manner towards the door.

How can a person be so happy.

Here goes nothing.

"Hello?" Jace questioned in a groggy voice.

"Um Hi Jace, its Riele" I slowly told him.

I heard noises from the back and someone mumbling Jace's name.

"Oh Hi Ri, how are ya? That reminds me, we need to talk, I'm really so-" Jace rambled but was cut off by me

"I'm... fine, and before you go on, can you please pick me up fron the hospital"

"Why are you in the hopital?" Jace asked curiously.

"I fell down the stairs...and got hit... by a bus." I lied.

"Um. Okay. See you soon."

After a few minutes, I had changed into decent clothes, returned a nurses phone, talked to a therapist, had gotten Jace to sign some papers and was finally on my way to My house.

On our way to the car Jace stopped me, he stood tall in front of me, his eyes filled with sympathy.

Then he hugged me.

He slowly pulled me closer to him wrapping his arms around me. In his embrace the world stopped still on its axis. There was no time, no wind, no rain. My mind was at peace.

"Its going to be okay." Jace repeated as we hugged in the pouring snow under the yellow sky.

After a few minutes we stopped hugging and walked to the car. Sadly

"My house?" Jace asked as we entered the car.

"Yup" I replied.

* AT JACE'S HOUSE*

As we walked up the stairs to his room, i felt in my gut that something was about to go wrong.

And I was right

As we walked into his room an unfamiliar smell filled my nostrils
