(NOTE): This story was originally posted on my FanFiction account Milbuscus back in like 2015. I've edited & re-wrote quite a bit of it. It's super old, so don't judge too harshly. I'm just reposting them for memories. :)

"I spy a fraud who probably never even knew his grandmother."

"All right, God damn it, you got a problem with me, take it up with me, but don't you EVER talk about my grandmother again" Mike yelled, nostrils flaring — eyes wide with anger.

"Oh I forgot, the poor orphan from New York City who I should feel sorry for because he never learned to drive." Louis continued, having no remorse.

"I'm telling you, watch yourself." Mike rallied, shifting in the backseat of the car.

"Why? Because I hurt your feelings?" Louis pressed, his tone sounding much more childish than he probably intended.

"Louis!" Mike warned.

"I don't care, for all I know, you're probably not even an orphan." Louis continued on, turning his head around to face Mike for a moment with a grimace on his face.

"Louis." Harvey warned this time, keeping his eyes on the road — brows etching together.

Still, Louis went on as usual; always being the one that never knew when enough was enough. "It sure as hell wouldn't be the first time a con man tried to make that claim."

"That's enough." Harvey raised his voice, glaring at Louis for a second before averting his eyes back to the road in front of him; knuckles white against the steering wheel.

"No it isn't." Louis shook his head.

"Yes, it is." Mike added. "Pull the car over right now, I'm going to beat the shit out of him" Mike announced, leaning forwards in the backseat of the car; hands gripping the passenger and drivers seats as he shuffled into the middle of the car — glaring down at Louis.

Harvey's adjusted his eyes up into the mirror above him for a moment, watching Mike cautiously as he shook his head in annoyance; eyes widened at Mike's sudden outburst.

It was playing over and over in Mike's head like a broken record, especially with it only happening a couple of minutes ago. Harvey eventually dropped them all off at a meeting, and an hour or so later Mike and Harvey came out the building climbing back into Harvey's car — Harvey calling a seperate car to come and collect Louis to avoid any further conflict.

"Harvey I said i'm sorry, I don't know what else I can say." Mike broke the silence that'd settled between himself and Harvey, him now sitting in the passenger side of the car where Louis was on the journey there.

"Then just shut up." Harvey sighed, eyes glued to the road.

"I didn't mean to lose the client, I was busy with Trevor last night and I—"

Harvey's fingers curled around the wheel in annoyance, turning it to the side and pressing his foot against the breaks — bringing them to a quick stop. He turned his head in Mike's direction, daggers in his eyes.

"What?" Harvey questioned in disbelief, brows knitted together as he tried to read Mike's face.

"It's—"

"You know what, don't." Harvey quickly interrupted, startling Mike before he could even conjure up an explanation.

Harvey reached down to his side, unbuckling his seatbelt and climbing out the car; door slamming behind him in annoyance as he made his way over to the building nearby, a local hotel.
