his chest rose and fell with the tiny, short breaths that he intakes. my head was against his chest, a light blush forming over my cheeks. we were still swaying long after the music ended. surprisingly, alexander still hasn't spoke to me in the last hour or two that i'd been with niall.

all of the sudden, we heard the front door jingle, signaling someone was outside the shop. the faint, metallic click of the light switch above us turned off, making the shop entirely dark. my breathing sped up, as did nialls.

"n-niall?" i whispered, forcing his back against the wall as i slid down the wall with him. it's better to be in a corner when you're panicked, better be safe than sorry. well, that's what i think.

"don't worry, we're okay. see, look out the window. it's raining. the storm probably knocked the power out."

"you said probably, not 'the storm defiantly' knocked the power out." i glared at him, even though he couldn't see me in the dark.

"well, excuse me that i don't know what the made the lights go out, miss-." he snapped, but was quickly interrupted by a shrill, shrieking sound.

a shadow by the window completely blocked out the light, as my face smashed against niall's shoulder. his head was touching mine. well there goes your plan of being macho, niall. a scraping sound was heard at the ceiling above us, my loud scream being quickly demolished by naill's palm. he closed my mouth, trying to quiet me.

"hey, there...alexis." i heard the familiar voice call out. and this time, is wasn't in my head. the deep, scratchy voice of alexander was defiantly uncomfortable and hard to handle at a time of being scared.

"go away, alex. please..." i begged, putting my hands up in a surrender innuendo.

"it's just alexxx..." a female voice whispers in my ear, the cold feeling of fingers playing with my hair made me freeze in my spot.

nialls pov:

it was victoria. how were our demons present, right here in front of us, and not in our heads? it made no sense to me. i could feel molly's laughter bounce off the walls, and charles started to laugh as well.

"oh, man. look at you guys! you're as scared as baby kittens!" charles booms, a loud laughter being heard all over the room.

"alexis, does niall know what i make you do to yourself?" an even deeper voice that charles, speaks up, his hands on the back of my head.

"no, please...don't." alexis whimpers, as i can tell, victoria's most likely messing with her.

"well, alrighty niall, let me tell you. she slashes herself! i force her to! isn't that funny? and i also made her try to kill herself multiple times. but you just had to save the day, didn't you, didn't you niall? well, i can not tolerate that..." who i am assuming to be alex, tsks at me.

"why should she die? she's bloody amazing!" i yell back, and i feel my head jerk back. he pulled my hair, and i felt a sharp sting on the side of my face where the cold palm slapped me on my cheek.

"don't disobey him, niall. " charles barks, his loud voice hurting my ears.

"yeah, naill. don't!" molly laughs, her whiny voice pipes up.

"hmm, since you can't realy save alexis, and i think that she is hot, like really hot, maybe i'll fun with her!" charles giggles, and i can hear alexis' clothes being ruffled up.

"stop!" i hear her cry out and i shield her with my body.

victoria, who i am assuming to be the black, thin shadow behind alexis, picks up a piece of her hair, and starts to braid it.

"niall...if we die..i want to say thank you, and that i-i..." was all she could say before my vision went black.
