Friendship is never established as an understood relation.
It is a miracle which
requires constant proofs.
It is a practise of purest imagination,
and rarest faith!

Ria's pov:-
All around me, people are giving their friends the most beautiful smile they can manage, and are tying those colourful bands on their hands.
The joyful mood is irritating me.
'Happy friendship day!'
Should have stayed at home today.
Too late for that.
Quickly making my way though the laughing and cheering crowd, I stopped in front of my locker.
"Happy friendship day Ria!" Paige exclaimed.
"Wish you the same." I said while I continued to stuff my books in my locker.
"Let me tie this around your wrist."
"Umm give it to me. I'll put it in my pocket."
"Why?"
"It gets uncomfortable while writing."
"As you say." she smiled though I could see the disappointment in her eyes.
"Thanks for understanding."
She simply nodded.
"I guess you'll keep mine in the pocket too?"
"It's the same reason Olivia. I am not really used to it."
"Oh! I understand." she shrugged.
"Here." she pulled out a bright pink band which had 'friends forever' written on it.
"Thanks." there was no enthusiasm in my voice.
"No need to thank me, we are friends."
"Right."

"So class today I want you to write something special for your best-friend." as soon as the words left the teacher's mouth murmers broke out in the class.
"Listen to me first." she said while banging the duster against the table.
"You have just ten minutes to write your message down and then you will read it out to the class. Alright?"
Upon hearing no complaints, she indicated us to start writing.
Everyone was busy writing something for their best-friends. You could see the pens moving on the paper and the people's eyebrows furrowed in concentration.
I picked up my pen and closed my eyes. Her picture flashed before my eyes and the tears pooled up in my eyes.
I won't cry. Only weak people cry and I am not weak.
