**Abbys POV**
I open my eyes to see Hayes standing right in front of me.
So I wasn't dying, but I wasn't sleeping either.
I look around and notice I'm not in my bed at my house.
"Where am I?" I asked Hayes
"Your in the hospital" Hayes answered.
"What happened to me" I asked.
At that note my mother came rushing in crying, not like a gentle cry, but a long, dramatic sob.
"Oh Abby I was so worried. I was so worried that you were going to.. "
"Going to what?" I asked my mother.
" Oh Abby it doesn't matter anymore, all that matters is your okay."

**Hayes POV**
The doctor pulled me and Abbys mom out of the room. He had a very serious look on his face.
"Abby is not okay." The doctor told us.
"What,what do you mean?" Her mother asked.
"Abby has kidney cancer, and right now she has a very weak chance of surviving." The doctor said.
Abbys mom started crying, as I stood there in shock.
"Unless we could get someone to Donner one of their kidneys for Abby in about two weeks, I'm afraid there's no way for her to survive." The doctor said.
At that point me and her mother both broke down into sobs.
