At the landing strip...

Dick thanked Barbara and hung up.

"What was that about?" Jason asked.

"She just told me: Even if Luthor tells people about our double life, she edited us into some security camera footage at Tampa beach," Dick stated.

"You did a good job at calling Luthor's bluff," Damian stated.

"Wasn't that hard.  For the short period the Riddler knew Batman's secret identity, I studied to see what he did with the knowledge, but he didn't do anything with it.  I knew Luthor would be the same; all narcissists are," Dick said easily.

"Speaking of which, how is Luthor?" Jason asked, as their private jet touch downed to the runway.

"He's enjoying a life sentence behind bars in Belle Reve.  He's still being taken care of by tax payers' money," Dick said, shaking his head.  "But I guess that's just the way the American justice system works."

The brothers boarded the private jet, and adjusted their seat for their benefit.

"I'm just happy that we didn't have to stay here longer than two weeks, Saint Louis can't really compare to somewhere like Vegas," Jason stated.

"Barbara said that there's some kind of serial killer there, so who knows?  Maybe you'll get your wish, and we'll head out there next," Dick replied.

"Hopefully," Jason nodded, taking out his iPod.

He started scrolling through possible options, and finally decided something by Led Zeppelin.  He chose something at random, and closed his eyes.

"What the hell is this?" Jason demanded, throwing his ear buds to the floor.

"Can't hold us..."

"Who the hell changed my music?  Damian, I swear!  If you messed with it again, they won't find your body," Jason threatened.

"Wasn't me, Todd," Damian stated.  "I would've assumed that you enjoyed, what do they call it?  Gangsta rap."

"Well, Dick.  Do you have anything you'd like to say?" Jason asked, turning on Dick.

"Um, yes, actually.  I have my eskrima sticks fully charged, and if there is any attempt against my life, I wil-"

Jason was unfazed by Dick's defense, and launched himself against Blüdhaven's protector.

Tt, Damian thought, rolling over to his side, preparing for the jet's takeoff.
