Chapter 4
Ava's P.O.V.
When he asked me to take him, I couldn't help but smile at Will. He is just so dang cute.
Cute? What is THAT.
I really needed to stop thinking of him like that. We could never be together, that was obvious. No, my past wasn't a dark one filled with abuse and stuff, but it's still a past that I didn't want to tell anyone about. It hurt to think about the completely perfect person I was before and the completely broken person I am now. I also couldn't tell him about...........
No. I wasn't even going to think about it.
It was almost as bad as my parents' death.
"Alright, come on. The gym is close to here." I said, before turning around and walking down the hall. I could here him hurrying to catch up.
"So, Ava? How long have you lived here?"
"Um........A couple months. I live with my aunt." He looked confused for some reason.
"What about your parents." He asked curiously. My stomach dropped.
"Nope. Can we not talk about it? Please?" I asked, looking anywhere but at him.
He seemed to get the idea and just nodded, giving me an unreadable look.
"Ava! There you are! Why are you so-......Oh! Who's THIS?" Emily asked me, sending Will a flirtatious look.
I suddenly felt verrryyyy uncomfortable.
"Hi, I'm Will. I'm new here." He said, holding out his hand. I couldn't help but think about how he never shook MY hand..........
I AM NOT jealous.
Oh,who am I kidding? Of course I am.

After gym, I tried to escape Will once again and once again he managed to stop me. I swear he is watching me like a hawk.
"Can I see your schedule, Ava?" Asked Will rather innocently. He was blocking my way towards the door way and I doubt that he would take no for an answer about seeing my schedule. The thing is.......I already overheard him talking to one of his friends about HIS schedule, so I already possessed the knowledge that we have EVERY SINGLE CLASS TOGETHER.
Just my luck, right?
"Well.......I don't exactly have it so-
"That's alright, you can just TELL me what you have."He said giving me a cheeky grin. I just narrowed my eyes and very slowly pulled my schedule out. Yes, I lied to him about it, but what can I say? I didn't want to get close to him and him following me around won't help with that.
"Oh! That's awesome! We have every class together!" He said giving me a grin. He finally got out of my way, but of course still stayed close to my side. I blew the hair out of my face and pretty much stomped to our next class, him with me the whole way.
"So, what's your full name Ava?" He asked, strolling beside me without a care in the world. He laughed when he saw me glaring at him and my stomach started fluttering. I really wish he would stop doing that. Sure, his laugh is the best sound in the world, but it wasn't helping me chase away my feelings for him. Irrational feelings might I add. I've only known him for like, two hours!!!
"My last name's Rain," I told him with a sigh. He was clearly never giving up.
"Rain.......hmm......Ava Rain...That's a really pretty name." He said with some unreadable emotion. I couldn't help but blush a little bit.
"Thanks" I replied, softly.
"Don't mention it," He said, giving me a genuine smile. I returned the smile before looking away.

"What's your favorite color?"
"Umm............cobalt blue. Yours?"
"Red. Best color ever."
"No It's not! Have you even seen the color cobalt blue?" I asked scowling at him. He's crossed the line.
"Well......no, but I've seen blue and It's the color of ice. So your icy and I'm hot, simple as that." He said, giving me a sly grin. I just rolled my eyes.
"Whatever, next question."
"K, Will you go on a date with me,"
