Fairy Tail; Forgotten and Alone

My eyes slowly opened, revealing me to be in a small room, with white beds lining the two longest walls. Sitting up, I noted that I was in one of these beds.

"Ah, you're awake" a voice said softly from my right, causing me to jump back and cast my attention to them.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I just wanted to say thanks, for getting me outta that place last night. I'm Gray by the way" he explained with a small smile.

Gray was wearing simple black pants and a necklace with a cross that hung over his bare chest, which bore his dark blue guild stamp. I noticed that all of his wounds were gone, meaning that the rumours of the Maiden of the Sky being here are true.

"Um, yeah, don't worry about it. It was nothing" I mumbled out before looking away. I'm not much of a 'people' person.

Gray got up and started to head towards the door; "I'll leave you to get dressed and stuff. Everyone's waiting downstairs for you" he informed me before closing the door behind him.

Getting up, I pulled my golden hair into a ponytail, before grabbing my clothes and throwing them on. I glanced around for my stuff, and not seeing any of it presume it's downstairs.

I quietly headed out of the small room, and down the stairs into the mass of people. A girl, with blonde hair and brown eyes, was the first to see me.

"Hey, you're up!" she exclaimed as she ran towards me. I saw a pink haired boy try to follow her, with a protective look in his eye, before he was stopped by a red head. Did he think I would hurt her? After I saved his friend and tried to protect them from those Twilight Wolves members?

"Hey, I'm glad you're awake! I'm Lucy" the blonde girl rushed out as she reached me.

"It's nice to meet you" I muttered with a courteous nod, "Do you know where my bag is?" I asked politely.

She nodded, and indicated for me to follow her as she walked over to a table, where the red head, the pink haired boy and Gray were sat. As I reached the table, Lucy grabbed my bag and passed it to me. I placed it on the table, before reaching inside and grabbing two medium length daggers and sliding one into the holsters on the inside of each of my boots. I then took two long daggers and slid them into the holster in the back of my leather jacket, before finally grabbing six throwing daggers and sliding three into each of my jacket sleeves, located right below the bottom of my palm.

I looked up to see the four of them staring at me. "Do you really need that many weapons? I mean, you've got your magic too" the pink haired mage asked whilst scratching his head.

I snickered. "Why don't you ask Titania? It's essentially the same thing. The only difference is she summons weapons and I don't" I pointed out. His face changed to something unreadable, anger maybe, as the rest of the group shrugged.

I pulled a notebook and pen out of my bag and turned my attention to Gray and Lucy. "I'm gonna need a list of all of your members, the magic they use and a brief description of each" I stated.

The pink haired boy stood up. "Why? What does that have to do with you?" he asked bluntly.

"Natsu! Don't be so rude! She saved Gray remember, and tried to protect us from those guys" Lucy slapped the pink haired mage -Natsu- round the back of the head.

I ignored her outburst and spoke to Natsu; "Kena said he needed some Fairy Tail wizards for a spell. By determining the magic your mages use, and how powerful they are, it might give us an indication of the severity of the spell they're gonna attempt. As for their physical description, it's just so whilst monitoring the TW's hideout, I can keep an eye out for other Fairy Tail wizards they might attempt to take" I explained without looking up from the map I had laid out on the table. I marked out the location of the current hideout, and marked the best places for possible others nereby.

"Why? We should just go to their hideout and kick their asses! Problem solved" I looked up to see Natsu looking pleased with his 'solution', and I just shook my head at him.

"No, that won't work. They would've relocated by now. We don't know where they're gonna be, but I'm gonna find out" I rolled up the map and shoved it back in my bag. "Well I guess I'm gonna go now" I nodded courteously, before grabbing my back and heading towards the door.

"Wait! You don't know where to find them, and we want to help. Stick around, and we can work together" Lucy stated, almost pleading.

It couldn't hurt anyone, right?

I slowly nodded. "Fine. Just until we figure out what they want with you guys. After that, I'm going solo, got it?"

They nodded. "Ok. Well, I'm Elena"
