Our Story

"At last" Kendrick said as he placed sushi trays on the table. He helped Jared cook Lizzie's five favourite food including butter chicken and mashed potatoes.
"okay piglets gather around the table, food's ready!" teased Ken cheerfully. Within seconds everyone was seated "finally" Kahn sighed Lizzie's eyes widened with a big smile emerging from her lips "Ohmagawshh these are all my favourite dishes" she squeaked and covering her mouth "aaand that is your cue" said Jared nodding at Kendrick. Everyone was confused and they all gave each other a the f**k is happening? look.
Kendrick stood up first and foremost i thank God for his non-ending love upon us" he smiled at Lizzie "guiding us safely back home to annoy each other" he laughed together with his siblings "also to our chef" he nodded towards Jared who stood up and bowed making everyone chuckle "even though mum isn't here as well as dad, i bet they're both proud of how we managed due to the most time spent without them especially dad" he sighed making everyone impatient "okay okay tonight is about celebrating our little dumplings' success at topping her science class" he smiled at Lizzie. Everyone smiled at Lizzie and stood up from their seats hugged Lizzie and congratulated her.
Lizzie smiled shyly. "thanks guys really, you didn't have to though" she tried to say but Jared cut her off "you deserve it dumpling" Lizzie poked her tongue at her. After they said grace they stuffed their faces with Jared and Kendrick's cooking not failing to give compliments.
"but how did you guys know?" asked Lizzie making everyone stop chewing and some from putting their forks and spoons in their mouths "didn't you tell him?" asked Serah Lizzie shook her head "i bumped into Tim while grocery shopping he said i should be very proud of you since you topped science" he smiled "gotta admit it sucks hearing great news about your siblings from other people" he narrowed his eyes at Lizzie.
She smiled "sorry but i was going to but Serah jumped in and told us about mum and since her not coming tonight was unexpected i felt sad and thought of keeping it to myself till grad" Jeremy caressed his sisters shoulders "hey we're always here for you, you should know that" he said reassuringly "
"yeah dumpling" everyone said in unison making Lizzie trickle a tear "ngawww" smiled Serah getting out of her seat "make some room for cheesecake dumpling" she said and kissed her little sisters head and wiped her tears.
Lizzie smiled everyone enjoyed their dinner and was now gathered in the living room each with cheesecakes, doritos and cheetos mixed in bowls and watched KBS then Kendricks phone rang making everyone glare at him for not putting his phone on silent "hey guys its mum" everyone jumped off their seats and huddled around Ken "hey mum call us on Kakao Talk well video chat" said Ken "ok then" said Iasmin.
Few minutes later Ken's phone rang again this time everyone got rid of their leftovers and was anxiously waiting for their mother to appear on screen "hello my babies" smiled Iasmin "hi mum" the siblings all said in unison.
"how are you mum?" asked Kahn and Lizzie in unison and smiling at each other "I'm fine but missing you all so bad, how's work Ken?" "oh mum its busy as hell but we all managed to get rid of the piles at work so don't worry" said Kend "thats good to hear, what about Henry how's school?" "my students are very fast learners and are very creative too mom so i guess ill say its going great" smiled Henry "that's great indeed" nodded Iasmin "Serah? i hope you've been eating than starving yourself for those showcases" "mum I've been eating don't worry i don't have any runway shows till Dec 4th" answered Serah "okay eat well you hear me?all of you" ordered Iasmin "how about your restaurant Jared??" "going smoothly mum" said Jared and shooting his mother two thumbs up.
His mother chuckled "How about you two Kahn and Jeremy?any shows lately?" she asked Jeremy "nah mum but we have a tour beginning of next year" grinned Jeremy "you miss our voices that bad?" Kahn teased "haha of course,
hows school Lizzie?" "Lizzie topped her science class" everyone said in unison this made Iasmin's smile brighter "im so proud of you Lizzie" she smiled some more "thanks mum" everyone smiled "they made all my favourite dishes mum it was lovely of them spoiling me and all" she said excitedly told her mom "I'm very proud of you all and how you're looking after each other while I'm gone" "no problem mom the elders said in unison, Ken, Henry and Serah. "well talk more when i come home okay have a good night my darlings i have to go now" and with that she gave her babies a blow kiss "night mum we love you" they all said in unison "i love you too babies" then their video call was disconnected.
