Another Day

"rise and shine dumpling!" yelled Serah cheerfully as she barged in her little sisters room "mmhmm Serah stop yelling" Lizzie said sleepily "not looking forward for school?" Serah pouted as Lizzie opened one of her eyes "nah just tired" smiled Lizzie "well hurry your ass down stairs missy you're already fifteen minutes late" Lizzie's eyes widened "oh no i cant afford to be late" she said running towards the bathroom.
Lizzie your pancakes are getting warm hurry up yelled Kendrick. Yesterday did not end so well "Ms Unamis could've just sent someone to finish up rather than making us wait with that idiot" Lizzie said to herself as she quickly made her way to the kitchen "guys I'm ready lets go?" both Ken and Serah were talking till she barged in.
"No Lizzteriah Cole you eat your breakfast first" said Kendrick "but I'm already late" reasoned Lizzie. "No!" Serah and Ken said in unison "aren't you guys late for work?" she said trying to get her siblings to give up and take her to school "no we start at nine and you're going to be as well if you don't eat your breakfast" glared Ken
"ughh ok ok" surrendered Lizzie.
After she finished her breakfast Lizzie and her siblings went to school and work.
Everyone was outside instead of inside the classrooms "oh yeah everyone's spring cleaning the compound" she said and face palmed herself.
"well well well" sang a familiar voice "oh no anyone but that jerk" Lizzie prayed "hey babe" smiled Zac. Lizzie rolled her eyes and tried to walk away from Zac who was holding a clipboard and writing stuffs down with a grin.
"why are you late aye? i didn't make you sleep well last night did i?" he joked "well i wasn't happy at all" replied Lizzie angrily but Zac just chuckled.
Why wasn't he pissed? she thought to herself "oh well" she shrugged.
"yes we will send half of the senior boys to clean out the patches and the girls to clean the hall" she heard bits and pieces from the teachers room "yes for our youth fest together with our prom and graduation"
Lizzie thought it would take her ages to wait so she hunted Enoel Highs compound for Mary and Astrid.
After hours of searching Lizzie caught a glimpse of Ian "Ian!" she yelled but Ian couldn't hear her so she decided to follow him maybe he would help her find her best friend and friend. She ran when not noticing she was following Ian behind the seniors toilets she heard voices so she slowed down knowing Ian has stopped she was about to call out his name when she was choked by what she was seeing.
Ian passionately kissing one of the senior girls one hand cupping her breasts and the other down her skirt both individuals were moaning out of pleasure when "how could you treat Astrid like that you asshole" fumed Lizzie and at the same time they were shocked by Astrid screaming "how dare you Ian you've made a fool of me again, i trusted you!" tears streaming down her cheeks.
Startled and embarrassed Lily pushed Ian away and fixed her uniform.  
"don't you dare come anywhere near her again you cold hearted snake" hissed Lizzie and dragging her friend away from the scene "babe  i-" Ian tried to say "save it!" yelled Astrid.
When they were out of earshot Astrid ran towards the girls bathroom "that good for nothing asshole" she cried *sniff *sniff "i loved him *sniff *sniff *sniff he's such a liar" she continued "let it all out Ash" comforted Lizzie "he keeps playing with me *sniff Lizzie am i stupid?" she asked "for starters yeah you are Ash i warned you but you still say yes to that jerk as if there's no other word than yes when you're with him" *sniff *sniff
"There you are!" said Amber breathlessly "the head boy called for you" Lizzie stared at her confused "why me?"
"I don't *breathes deeply* know Lizzie you really need to go it took me ages to find you, you have to be there now"
"tell him I cant I'm busy i have stay here with As-" "its *sniff *sniff ok Lizzie you have to go or else you'll get into trouble" interrupted Astrid "no I'm staying with you, you need me" rejected Lizzie
"Lizzie *sniffles i really want to be alone you can go *sniffles " said Astrid trying so hard to smile.
"I'm not going anywhere and that's final, Amber tell him you couldn't find me"
*sighs "fine but don't blame me if you get on hard labor" said Amber and walked away.
Why did Lennon ask for me? she wondered and few seconds later she shook it off.
After comforting Astrid they went into one of the schools laboratory one of Lizzie's favourite places in school "just rest here k? you need it or else you might get a head ache from all that drama"
Astrid as she was told.
The bell for recess rang everyone walking here and there eating laughing playing until a thought struck her "oh no Mary!" she thought to herself she stood up making sure there was no noise and crept outside making her way across the fields.
"look who it is you got some nerve making kimbo wait for you huh"
"shit!" Lizzie muttered to herself before turning around and acting cold "Zac have you seen Mary?"
"only Joseph" he teased "go die you lunatic" hey be here on Saturday you're wanted!" Zac ordered and walked away happily. I really want to slap that smile off his face Lizzie thought and rolled her eyes.
"where is she" she whispered "hey Lizz" greeted Jason "finally a human" she said to herself "Jason have you seen Mary" "yeah she's right ah there she is " Lizzie turned and Mary was making her way towards them. "thanks Jason" Lizzie said not giving Jason a chance to talk and ran towards Mary.
"ohmyfuckinggosh I'm so sorry its just that Astr-" panted Lizzie "hold it no need for you to explain i know i asked around and then saw you talking with Jason where is she?" asked Mary but Lizzie was having mixed emotions and Mary noticed "*sigh linked hands with Lizzie* its spreading as we walk Lizzie the whole school is talking about it some senior couple were at the back there too and they were watching and listening when they heard Astrid's voice" explained Mary.
"oh God i feel for her so bad that jerk"
"That jerk is not to be blamed Lizzie, Astrid should've seen it coming its been happening to her the last three years".
The remaining of the day was spent indoors until it was time to go home.
The boys were already making dinner when Lizzie got home. "why are you guys home so early and whats with this" she chuckled everyone pretended they didn't hear her "where's Serah guys?" still no answer.
Lizzie walked towards her older brother "Ken" she said "Ken!" she said again "Ken!!!!" she screamed and nudged him "ouch yah! what do you want" he hissed "whats with all this?"
"We have a guest tonight and Serah is driving that person here as we speak" Lizzie was about to ask another question when her sister pulled up she peeked through the curtain wondering who her sister brought home.
"is it her boyfriend?" she thought "nah the boys'll kill him" her eyes widened when she saw who the guest was........
