Sam~

I was heading towards the border following Jay's scent. It was getting really strong!

Mate is so close!

I stumbled into a clearing where a small figure was curled up in the middle.

"Jayden!"

I didn't even notice that I shifted. I ran across the clearing while pulling on my shorts. Once I was at her side, I was on the ground pulling her to me.

"Jay baby, can you hear me?"

I checked her pulse to find it normal. Her breathing was also fine. But her scent had changed. I started checking her for any mark that Ian could have put on her. When I didn't find one, I sat there confused.

How did her scent change without being marked?

She doesn't smell like Ian you idiot.

Then who does she smell like???

A wolf.

Who though?

No one we know. But never mind that, let's get Jay home. She's probably exhausted.

Yeah you're right.

I got up and picked her up bridal style.  I spent the entire walk to my house inhaling her new scent. There was no way I was letting her out of my sight after tonight. I was going to tell her about us and introduce her to the pack when she was ready. I needed my mate, even if she was human.

Jayden~

I woke up to a bright light. I assumed it was the light coming in my windows. So on instinct, I rolled over and tried to shield my face with my teddy bear. Only my teddy bear chuckled and pulled me close. I was about to scream when I glanced up to see an amused Sam looking down at me.

"What the heck?"

I jumped up and looked at my surroundings.

"Why am I in your room? How did you find me? Why didn't you wake me?" I shouted at him.

"Ok, Ok calm down Jay.  One question at a time. You're here because I brought you here. I went to look for you after you disappeared because I knew that you would never leave after a nightmare. You were knocked out when I found you so I couldn't wake you. Plus you needed the sleep."

I could tell that he was keeping something from me but I decided not to mess with it.

"Oh, ok."

His next question caught me off guard.

"What happened last night? Don't tell me nothing because I know that something happened."

I couldn't look at him. He can't know that Ian came back. I don't know how Sam will react. What if he leaves me?

He would never leave us little one!

I clutched my head as the three wolves yelled and growled in my head.

How do you know that?

Mate.

"Jay, are you okay?"

"Sam, what's a mate?"

"Why? Did Ian call you that? I'm gonna kill him if he did."

"No Ian didn't Call me that but how did you know I was with Ian?"

"Um. Well. You see.."

"You can't lie to me Sam so just spit it out."

"I'm a werewolf. "

I sat there quietly. If sam was a werewolf like me then there must be more of us.

"Me too."

The three voices in my head appraised my confession.

Sam on the other hand look so confused that it was adorable. Wait, I don't call sam adorable!

"How?" Sam whispered.

I took a deep breath and started to tell him everything...
