cakes POV
i wake up to mackie fanning me "what happened?" i ask she sighs releaved "your up! and umm...well....you see...fionna-" my head rushes and i remember everything i gasp and stand up "where is she i need to see my baby!" i say mackie holds me back i stop when i notice tears in her eyes slipping down her cheeks "w-what's wrong?" she started to shake and hugs me "its fionna..." she says my heart shatters and i stiffen not hugging back "what happened?" she sobbed "s-she she..." she kept sobbing i hold her back with her shoulders "WHAT HAPPENED!!!" i scream at her she shakes more "fionna is dead..." i let go of her shoulders "c-cake?" she chockes back her sobs waving her hands in front of me i fall to my knees "CAKE?!?!" she goes to help me up but i put up my hand telling her to stop i look at my hands thinking back to the times i spent with her "shes gone..." i mummble to myself marshal stummbles in i know this without looking everytime he's around i feel my hair stand up on end "marshal?" mackie gasps and i look up too see him covered in blood not any blod human blood... fionna's blood. i stand up and my eyes turn to fire as i pick him up and slam him to the wall "WHY DID YOU DO IT?!?! WHY DID YOU KILL HER?!?!? DOESN'T MATTER IMMA KILL YOU!!!!" I scream at him he chokes on air and mackie trys to help him by pulling me off "LET GO!" she hisses i dont listen instead i push harder he kicks and kicks soon his kicks get weaker and weaker then they stop i drop him to the groud and fall myself i didnt notice the doctors around me needle in my neck as i passed out ...
mackies POV
cake fell to the ground and closed her eyes i rush to marshal and check if hes breathing he is...i sigh and get up "he'll be fine..." i say they nod and take them away i think about what just happened 'marshal killed fionna? no but he wouldn't! but then again he would... the point is fionna is dead and marshal has her blood on him...who else could it have been' i think then for the second time it hits me SHES GONE.... i sit down and look into space 'my best friend...gone....its all my fault...if i hadn't taken her to the dark forest then she would be okay...maybe a little sad but she would be breathing... I look through the doorway at her laying body she almost looks Luke she's sleeping...but I know the horrible truth...she isn't...because of me... I felt a tear stream down my cheek its my fault...I killed Fionna. I did it... with that thought I ran out the hospital to god knows where just away from these people I didn't want to hurt anyone..I had to get away from it all I had to protect them by making as much space between us as possible.
???'s POV
I woke up with a small groan and a little pain all over..not much but I could feel it..it was there. I sit up and cough up dry blood "h-help!?" I say I push myself up and stumble a little before falling on my side I let out a scream making the animals flee I hold my side and curl into a ball "help..." I say in a weak scratchy voice. Out of the corn of my eye I see a shadow "h-hello?" It steps back out of fear "I won't hurt you" I said smiling "I know you won't... just don't want to hurt you..." I hear a girls voice sniffle at this I stop thinking of my pain and sit up against a tree "trust me it takes a lot to hurt me..." I say making her giggle I give a confused face "you were crying a minute ago..." she said "WAS NOT!" I say there was a salience dead silent all I could hear was my breathing and my pulse that was throbbing I'm my veins. She steps out of the shadows meekly and walks closer to me I just watch awestruck by the way she looked black hair, red eyes, small but visible fangs, white tank top, brown jacket with jeans, she was skinny but not to the point where she looked like a twig...she was beautiful.. she walked over and kneeled down to me her hair that went to her mid stomach flowed down as she did she lifted a hand to my face and hesitently wiped my tears away her cold hands sent a shiver down my body "there...see you were crying" she snapped me out of my thoughts with a giggle I chuckled and wiped my tears away "I guess I was....?" "Mackenzie" she said I smiled and extended a hand "fin" she smiled and shook my hand "hey Mackie?" She nodded "where am I?" I ask....
