sleepless nights (Damian)

I walk silently through the halls wof the manner I just got back inside from a smoke there was no one in the manor at the time well except for Alfred and Damian but Alfred was downstairs and Damien's probably sleep that's the whole reason he was forced to stay home stay I was I continued my journey through the Halls when suddenly I heard a small sobbing coming from one of the rooms I know it's Damon I've memorize these Halls by now it was one of the first things that I did I peeked into his room to see him curled up into a ball it looks like he was trying to suffocate himself I quickly walked over to his bed and lay down next to him his eyes shut up and boarded into and mine I could see a swirl of emotions inside of his green eyes sadness despair longing and fear "do you want to talk about Damian over the time that I've been here we have bonded and we're quite that's  I've been here mostly because he's been on bed rest and I Won't  leave my room until I know that everyone's going on Patrol so we're there really only the two people here his arms instantly wrapped around me "I'm sorry I smell like smoke" I whisper to him softly "it's okay" he whispered back "you should get some sleep you know" I told him "you should to" I know he was right we both just stay like that he is so young he shouldn't have to be faced with any of the burdens he holds against their shoulders soon enough I feel the rising and falling of his chest calm down and even I know he was asleep I kept staring at the wall I wasn't thinking just there I was kind of a numb feeling that I had but I was used to it by now I slowly close my eyes and let's sleep clam me it was a dreamless sleep and for that I was thankful
