Rose's POV

It feel like all the air rushed out of me. What do I say or do? He stares at me waiting for my ultimate answer. "Umm" I gulp. "I'm sorry, I don't think I can." I answer. For a split second I saw his face fall before it was covered up. "Why?" He asks. "You are technically part vampire meaning you can take the throne with me." he says. I shack my head "It's not that I just, I just...I want to get to know you the true you first." I answer. HE sighs "Why don't we start dating first then?" He asks. I nod a shy smile on my face. We kiss again each time more and more magical.

Cole's pov

During the time she was in a coma I started thinking. She is so nice and kind unlike anyone I have ever known. I love the way her eyes turn to a light mint green when she is happy or a forest green when she in deep in thought. Her face is still red which makes her cuter. Her lips taste of honey and vanilla. I pull away as the curtain opens. "May I talk to you in private, your highness?" He asks. I look back at her before following him out the room. "I couldn't help ,but to over hear. If you would want her to be queen you would have to convince the counsel and the entire kingdom that a neko to be queen. During that time however no one can know what we did until you get her accepted. She would see have to stay your servant and I would have to teach her to transform with cat and ears when going out in public, for the time being. " He explains.

God I hate it when he is right. "Doc with tactics like yours, you should be running the kingdom." I reply. He laughs. "Don't worry Cole it will work out and if it doesn't you could always be love sick teens and run away together. I'll try to do my best to protect her." he says. looking at me with his kind wise eyes. I out a hand on his shoulder "Thank you, Thomas, I really appreciate it. "I say. he nods. He  goes to go look at other patients. Why does everything have to be complicated? "Before I go. One piece of advice, I know your soul mates and all, but don't ask someone you barly know to marry and be queen. She is only part vampire meaning she only feels not as much pull. You have o make her fall in love the old fashion way." He says walking away.

Soul mates? It does make sense ,but there haven't been records of soul mates of centuries. Why me though? Whats so different from me and every other vampire, besides being the next king. I'm not complaining, trust me ,but still. Now that I think about it I really shouldn't have asked her that. If I was her I would have slapped me. I walk beck in her room. I explain things her eyes forest green. She nods.

Well I didn't exactly explain the soul mates part though. I go back to my office only to find people in there waiting for me. "there is an intruder who attempted to steal from the royal fault " One explains I nod. "By law thief gets their hands cut off, but we weren't sure since its in the castle if you wanted a more severe punishment." They say. "Cut one {Hand} for a regular thief Cut two {Hands} for a royal one." I order. They walk out. There sick fuckers who love seeing people in pain, I on the other hand like to make sure to keep people in line.

 For the rest of the day I deal with all that I have been putting off since Rose has been asleep. Its so tiring. i wasn't on my A game. I was to busy think of how much I want to see her. My heart yearns for her. As soon as the last royal meeting was done I raced to her.  She wasn't there. The bed wrinkled. I look around. I am going to turn insane if I don't see her A nurse tells me she went to the green house. I run over to the green house. She was sitting on the ground holding her knees up. her beautiful curly hair shinning in the sun light. I was about to go and kiss her until an annoying thorn in my back comes walking in toward her. Fuck!
