Every one of my first holidays I was in the hospital. Every single one. They didn't know what was wrong I was always sick. We would later find out I had Craniometaphyseal Dysplasia also know as CMD. CMD is a genetic disease that affects bone growth. I got CMD from my mother who got it from her father. The disease causes your long and facial bones to be much thicker. Causing breathing problems and also for your joints to hurt ( knee, shoulders, ankles, wrists, etc) it can also cause deafness and blindness. I myself have pains mostly in my right knee and ankle as well as I have vision problems and I'm almost completely deaf in my right ear.
