Jay's POV

I landed safely in the forest hopping off my dragon. I glanced around looking for Zane. He probably wasn't here yet. I heard a faint cry and walked toward it. I saw a small child about a year old sitting near a tree holding a badly hurt arm. I walked to her and she looked up fearfully.

I said gently "Hey I'm not gonna hurt you..." I knelt beside her and I asked "Can I see your arm..?" She hesitantly extended her arm and I saw Zane walking toward me. I said, "Her arm has a gash on it." He knelt next to me and smiled "What is your name?"

Her squeaky voice replied "Y/n..." I smiled "Pretty name for a pretty girl." She smiled and after Zane doctored her up I asked "Who did this..?" She said, "Daddy did this..." My eyes widened and I asked, "Do you know his full name..?" She nodded "F/n F/m/n(father's middle name) L/n ."

Zane asked, "Do you know where he lives?" She nodded "W-We live in a house on I think... Umm... S/a (street address)." I smiled and picked her up "You can stay with us for a while.." She smiled and yawned falling asleep on my shoulder. Zane sighed dreamily "You have the biggest heart I swear..." I kissed his cheek "We should get her back to the monastery."

He nodded "Our date can wait for a little. We can always reschedule." I nodded and he formed his dragon and I carefully got on behind him. He flew us back towards the monastery.
