Beautiful Mistakes

Confusion

It's been two weeks since I told Dan to leave. I just can't believe he would spy on me. I decided I needed to get out of the house for awhile so I grabbed my keys and left. As I was driving down the street, I saw a bunch of girls running. Since I was at a stoplight, I decided to find out where and what they were running to. I circled the block and that's when I saw him. He was standing there talking to some girls. But those gorgeous brown eyes didn't shine. When all the girls left, I saw his smile instantly fade and tears brim his eyes. I decided to go talk to him to clear all the confusion. I got out of my car and walked over to him.
He looked sad, hurt, and confused. "Dan..I just want to talk and see if we can fix this." He smiled but he eyes didn't shine, he looked scared. He soon nodded and followed me back to my car.
*time skip*

We got back to my house and walked inside. He walked over to the couch and sat down calmly. I soon followed and looked at him with questioning eyes. He looked down and began.
"Hannah...I'm sorry. I just had to make sure you were okay and safe."
I searched his face for any hidden emotion before I continued the conversation
"Why didn't talk to me? Or reach out to me?!?" I exclaimed. He look away and wiped some tears.
"Don't cry Daniel. I'm trying to make this work." "I'm sorry." He said sheepishly. I got up and walked out of the room. I heard him sigh heavily and hit a pillow. I continued down the hall and grabbed my favorite movie out of my room. And grabbed some blankets. I walked back into the living room and threw one of the blankets at Dan. He quickly reacted and grabbed it. I put the movie in and sat down on the couch. While the movie was playing it got colder in the room, and I began to shiver. Dan soon noticed and slid over toward me. He wrapped his arm around me, and I got comfortable.

Dan's POV
I looked over her and realised she was asleep, so I picked her up, careful not to wake her, and carried her to her room and set her down on the bed. I tucked her up. And started to walk to the door. But then I heard her say something in her sleep. I didn't understand it at first, but then I got it. She said, "Why did you leave me" I stopped walking towards the door, took off my shirt and got into the bed.

*Time skip*
It was around two thirty in the morning when I woke up. I was about to get out of the bed when I felt something tighten around me. In confusion, I looked back and saw Hannah sleeping peacefully. I quietly untangled myself from her and got up. I went into the kitchen, and grabbed the pineapple juice and some pancake mix. I began to make her favorite pancakes and put pineapple on the side. I poured the pineapple juice into her favorite cup. I placed them in the fridge and at that time, it was eight fifty. After the pancakes chilled, I took the up to her room. She was still sound asleep.

I placed the plate on the nightstand and woke her up. She looked at me with her eyes clouded with confusion. I gave her the food and she smile happily. While she ate, I went down and took a shower. I got out of the shower and told Hannah goodbye, grabbed my keys and left. I decided to go over to Phil's house today to talk to him for awhile. When I got there, something felt off, but I shrugged it off and knocked. He answered the door and let me come in. We walked to the living room and I sat down. He said he was going to make tea. After we drank the tea, we talked for awhile. Then we started to walk to the gaming room. We decided to play a few games. I picked the first game, Fire Boy And Water Girl. We played that until we had beat the game. Occasionally we would get up and get more tea. After awhile of gaming, we went to the living room and started to watch Anime.
Hannah's POV
I woke up to Dan poking me in the side. And I smelled the food immediately, he placed it on the bed and walked out. I finished eating and got up to take a shower.

*Time skip*
I was walking to the bedroom door, when I noticed that the plate was still on my bed. I smile and took it down stairs. I placed it in the sink and began to wash the dishes. I turned on my favorite playlist on Spotify. I was in the middle of washing a plate when I thought I heard a faint noise. It was very faint but I swear I could hear it over my music. When I look over my shoulder, I saw my sister there with her stuff pack up. In shock I asked her what was going on and she just stared into my eyes with a blank expression covering her face. She told me was moving out. She walked out and slammed the front door. I was still in shock until I hear a loud crash. I looked down and realised I had dropped the plate I was holding, when I bent down to clean it up, my phone started to ring. I looked at it and it was my doctor. I quickly answered it.
"Hello?" I asked nervously. She answer with, " Your tests came back and you have a large blood clot near your left lung. You need to come back to the hospital immediately for emergency surgery. I am very sorry, but this is very urgent." I quickly told her I was on my way and hung up. I quickly ran up stairs and started packing my bag for the hospital stay. I grabbed my bag and keys, left towards the hospital. I left a note on the counter for Dan, and with that, I was gone.

Sorry it took me so long to update my life got really busy. I had tennis and school and a lot of other stuff going on. So I hope you enjoy this chapter.
