The day has become night, and the light has become darkness. It was peaceful and horrifyingly quiet. Then the beautiful storm erupted from the silent sky. In the distance, a lightning bolt could be seen. The windows rattled when the thunder clapped. The flashes of lightning brought every room in the house to life. Every clap of thunder, we jumped in fear. The storm continued to grow, and we continued to hide. As we embrace in the dark, there was becoming a pattern of knocks on our front door. We left our safety and opened the door. I stared into the darkness for awhile and then I went inside. The knocks started again, but this time we were ready so we opened the door immediately. There he was, standing there. His brown eyes sparkled as tears rolled down his face. I told my sister to go upstairs so I could talk to Dan. "Dan, what are you doing here?",I asked furiously. "Hannah, please, just listen to me." He exclaimed with a fresh wave of tears fell. "Fine."

I opened the door wider to allow him to walk inside. After he walked in, we sat on the couch in awkward silence. "Why are you crying Dan?"

"Hannah, I miss you. I have missed you since I left. I thought I was holding you back. I thought that without me, you could live life to the complete fullest. All I did was break my heart and your heart. I love you."
