Notes: Jack is MtF transgenderLife. Your life is like train tracks that go a certain direction of your destination, your goal. You seem like you're going the right direction but all of a sudden you get lost and can't find your path anymore. That lost train is Jacklyn.
Jacky sat in front of the TV wondering how it would be like with someone who loves her. He stared at the reflection of her face on the tv, pressing her hand onto her pale cheeks, a tear falling down onto her hand. It was only a few minutes until she started bawling out into tears.
She was crying the anger and resentment away. She thought she finally found true love but his "love" said otherwise. She thought she had took the right path of love but she didn't; she took the route of risk and regret, insted of taking no route at all.

It was just a lazy Sunday morning at church. Jack hated going to church; not that she's against religion and God, she just doesn't know the point of sitting for an hour listening to jigly music, trying to take in the verses and sections of the Bible. But this day was quite important. It was Jack's mom's wedding. Fourth wedding to be exact. Jack hated it. She's sick of having step dad after step dad. None staying with her mom for more than two years. She wonders when she'll finally find the right man.
The wedding finally ended and Jack was off trying to find the group of her distant family, since she sat in the back like the compleate introvert she was.
She clumsily walked around the church, trying not to get into accidental social interactions. While doing so, she accidentally lost balance, triping on a plastic cup on the floor. Just before she hit the floor, someone caught him.
"Whoops! You almost fell there." The person said, lifting Jack up so she now has a direct vision of the stranger who caught him.
"Y-yeah.. Sorry," Jack said, blushing a little of embarrassment, immediately looking down, not wanting to commit any eye contact with him.
"No need to be sorry. Jacklyn, right?"
Jack looked up at him surprised. "How does he know my name?" She thought.
"Uh, yeah. Um, h-how'd you know?" Jack stuttered, looking at the guy carefully examining his features, trying to see whether he recognizes him from somewhere.
"Oh! You don't know? I'm Lynn, your new step brother." Lynn smiled, taking Jack's hand, shaking it as if they had just met. "Oh." Jack hesitantly shook his hand back. She tried to sound as if she wasn't surprised.
"Surprised?"
"Did Lynn just read my mind?!" Jack thought.
Jack awkwardly stayed silent and let go of Lynn's hand. "Well we should be going home now, right? They are waiting for us." He pointed at a direction which had Jack's mom and Lynn's dad standing at the doorway. "Oh-" Jack was cut off by the suprise of Lynn holding her hand and dragging her to their parents.
"Jacklyn!" Jack's mom exclaimed, holding out her arms to hug her daughter. "Hi mom." She said, hugging her. "We're in a hurry right now so go to the car with Lynn, okay? We'll be there in a few minutes." Lynn took Jack's hand again and together, they walked to the car. "You go first", Lynn said, opening the car door for Jack. She said nothing, and stepped inside the car and put on her seat belt. Lynn went to the other side of the car, fastening his seat belt as well. "Are you excited to have new family members, Jacky?" Jack nodded, not sure if she was being truthful.
"Great! I'm excited to have a new cute sister myself~" Lynn laughed, looking outside for their newly wed parents. Jack blushed and stayed quiet. No ones ever called her cute before- with an exception of her mother.
Finally, after a long time of waiting and awkward-ness, their parents got to the car and they were soon driving.
"Hey Jackyyy," her new step father called, driving the car.
"Hi."
"You two will be okay at home by yourselves, right?"
Jack's eyes grew wide, Lynn just smiled.
"Oh why yes, of course! I know you two have plans for your wedding day! Jacklyn and I will be perfectly fine; I can take on a tour of our house!" Lynn exclaimed.
"Great! Because your mom and I rented a hotel for tonight."
Jack slumped in her chair. She doesn't want to stay alone with her new step brother she's just met. God knows what he'll try.
Finally they got home. Their dad, Jack's stepdad, dropped them off, leaving him and Jack's mom in the car and Jack and Lynn by themselves. Lynn unlocked and opened the door letting the two in.
"Woah, this place is huge..." Jack accidentally thought outloud.
"Trust me, there are bigger things IN the house than the house itself~" Lynn winked and laughed, earning a blush from Jack.
"I'm kidding~ Anyways, lemme go. show your our room!" Lynn said, walking upstairs.
"OUR room?!" Jack thought. She cringed at the thought of them sharing a room, praying to God that they will have separate beds.
And when they reached their room, Jack was certainly relieved of what he saw. One half of the huge room was dedicated to Lynn; it was blue with a bunch of books, a computer and shelves apon shelves of romance movies and manga. The other half was clearly dedicated to Jack as it was red with fluffy pillows and stuffed animals; she had a giant bear plush with a heart in the middle, her name sewn in the middle. Her shelves had many manga and more stuffed animals with anime figures. She even had a small clear cabinet with many pairs of new glasses in it.
She stood in awe for a moment. She knew this was a start of a good home.
"Thank you."
