"... And who are the two babies with them?"

Oh shit, no no no no no! I don't know how to tell him. I don't know how he will react if I knew that his father has been keeping me a secret. Can I tell him that they are photo shopped in? I want to tell him but I don't know how to. Dang it y/n, think!

"Um... they are my uh cousins." I lie.

"Really, we're related?" Adrien asked confused.

"No, no of course not." I shout.

I take the picture out of Adrien's hands and put it back into my pocket.

"Hey Adrien, i have to ask. What happened to your mom?" I asked.

Adrien's eyes fill with sadness. He looks to the ground and frowns.

"Sorry." I apologized.

"No, don't be. She left, that's all." Adrien's voice cracked.

I feel like i was going to cry as well, no one should feel that pain. No one deserves to feel that way, not even the wealthy. The pain just drives them mad.

"Adrien I'm sorry."

Adrien whipped the tear off his cheek and smiled. Even though i knew it was fake, it was still a beautiful smile. His smile seems so real, talk about looks can be deceived.

"It's okay, I really am okay. You're my sister, I won't lie."

He knows? No, impossible. He can't know, no one told him. Random thoughts race through my mind. A bead of sweet forms on my forehead.

"Sister?"

Adrien smiled and pulled me into a hug.

"Yeah, your my sister and nothing can change that."

I hug him back. He pulls away and picks me up.

"What?" I asked in a high pitched vioce.

"I'm not going to let you stay here over night."

"I can walk," I said kicking my feet, "Put me down!"

"Not with that broken leg your not."

"Arg." I complain.

I cross my arms and pout with a slight blush on my cheeks. Adrien takes me to his uber and sets me in the back seat. He hops into the car. The uber takes off.

"You really didn't have to carry me." I pout

"What do you mean?"

"You didn't... never mind."

"What do you think of Chat noir?" Adrien asked out of the blue.

I blink.

"Uh, why do you ask?" I asked.

"Uh nevermind."

"No, go on. You know that i wasn't sick don't you?"

Adrien sighs.

"No more lies, i am sick of the lies, don't make me sound crazy! You know what really happened! Tell me the truth. Tell me the truth and nothing but the truth, got it?"

"Okay." Adrien sighs, "You were attacked by the Mist, and you fell uncountious after the fight. Chat noir and Ladybug took care of Mist and he is free from the curse that Hawkmoth put on him. You are safe now. I promise."

"I sure hope so." I exhale.

"I swear on my life that nothing bad is going to happen to you, I promise y/n. I never go back on my word."
