CHAPTER SIX

" May I have this dance Y/N? " With a light tap on the shoulder and a voice near my ear I look to the side to see a nervous Malachi with hope in his eyes that I would say yes to his request, I wiped my lips with the napkin and placed it on the table to hold Malachi's hand as we came on the dance floor, as the song was soon to finish new couples coming onto the floor and finding a space fir themselves.

Malachi grabbed my hand and placed on my shoulder he lightly placed his hand on my waist within my breath slightly hitched, with the other hand intertwined with his. And started swaying as the song started to play, the gentle lyrics making you have the feeling.

Malachi staring deep within my eyes, having different thoughts in his head, and whisper the lyrics as he removed my hands to wrap around his neck and his arms circling my waist. Our faces close we could hear our breathes in our ears.

My heart beating slowly... Feeling like time is going very slow... Feeling like no one else is around the surroundings... Like no distractions no need for survival. No stress, no worries. I laid my head on his shoulder and still swaying to the music, feeling relaxed and loving the time.

As we stopped I slowly opened the eyes and finally finding myself still on the dance floor. Him leaning in his forehead on mine and holding my cheek lightly. " Thank you " He whispered lowly, we walking back to Jess and Levin. Jess seemed to enjoy herself and happily watching us come back while Levin had his arms crossed with his face having a bothered expression.

" Pardon me Y/N May I speak for a moment " I see Levin looking at me hoping I will talk to him, I gave him a little nod and walked away from the table leaving Malachi with Jess would was dancing along to the music. We were standing by a tree as he spoke.

" There's a wedding I've been invited to, by a fellow friend he just wanted me to be there and I was wondering if you can come along with me as my date "

" Date? " I raised an eyebrow and had a thought about it " When is it? " I questioned. " In a few days time, you don't have to go but I was wondering if you would like to have some time at a ceremony " I slightly nodded and agreed to his proposal. He gave a grin and walked back to Malachi and Jess where people were speaking to him, I went back to my seat next to Jess and told her the situation that happened a few moments ago.

" Wedding? Well before you go I want to give you a dress... Well it was kinda a dress that we were thinking about as kids, I wanna show you later tonight and I feel like it's perfect to the event you are going to " I kinda remembered what she meant by that. As kids we use to think about our own dresses that we would want to wear as were older. Since then I haven't thought about it until now.

As the event was over and Malachi wanted to show me something before I went back to the boutique. He was holding my hand as my eyes were blindfolded, we walked up stairs on a building as we went to the top he carried me up as we went on the roof  " Are you ready to see? "

I gave a nod as he untied the blindfold and looked around as I looked up in amazement as the so many stars in the sky twinkling in my eyes the bright moon shining brightly then anything above. We sat down next to each other just star gazing up on the stars enjoying the peaceful moment we had, leaning my head in his shoulder.
