While riding her bicycle down the steepest road, all she looked at was the path ahead of her. Rather than taking in the scenery from top to bottom, she embraced the wind hitting her skin and focused on her heart progressively beating faster. Like that, her stress and problems went away in that moment. Thinking was something she hated because once she started, it seemed to be an endless cycle of overthinking and over analyzing situations.
Nearing the bottom of the road, she tried to break, but it wasn't working. Cursing to herself not only because she forgot to check if her bike was in decent condition, but because she decided to wear flip flops today. This would not only hurt her, considering how thin the material of the flip flops were, but if she made one small mistake, she could get seriously injured.
Trying to slow down using her flip flops did very little to help her, but it was something. About three feet from the bottom of the road, one of her neighbors came into her sight. They both looked like they were deers caught in headlights.
Crashing into her is what started it all.
