You felt like home to me
You felt like the end of the week when you get to take a break
You felt like a blanket fresh from the dryer
You felt like dancing in a rain storm
You felt like a cup of coffee at 6am
You felt like starting a new tv series and watching 3 seasons in a day
You felt like getting an A on a test you had no faith in passing
You felt like sitting on a porch at 5am because you couldn't sleep long enough to wait for the sun to come up
You felt like looking at the stars for hours
You felt like laying in your lap reading poetry
You felt like art museams
You felt like a future I could believe in
You felt like a quiet restaurant on a friday
You felt like safety when I cant even find refuge in myself
You felt like exactly what I needed and still need
You felt like everything I find amazing in this world
You felt like everything would be okay with you
You felt like finding the real me that's been long dead
You felt like clean towels working 9 hours and taking the longest shower ever
You felt like bright beautiful flowers
You felt like spring time grass and honeysuckle
You felt like autumn leaves and hot chocolate
You felt like something was finally real
You felt like watching the sun set every night and rise every morning
