Chapter 1 Part 3

"MOOOOOOM!!!" Hailey cries out as she falls back on the floor against the wall out of fear. The man turn to look at her with his blackish red eyes as he smiles looking at her.

"Finally another snack. The little runt got stuck somewhere and put up a fight but this one wasent even a slight challenge." The ghoul says as he whips the blood off his mouth.

"Now stay still for me, this won't hurt a bit!" Before Hailey could even think the red blade like tenticale launches at her as it barely missed her head by a thin hair of and inch. Haileys eyes widen out of shock of the speed as she forced herself to snap out of it.

"You lucky bitch! Well I do like to work for my food" he laughs as the blade tenticale retracts from the wall and aims at her again. 'Focus Hailey! You had all this training c'mon you can do this. Try and predict his moves by reading his slightest movements then dodge and find Cesar'

Suddenly he pounces at her and slams her into the wall grabbing her neck. Hailey struggles and wiggled trying to break free but the more she wiggled the tighter his grip got. She slowly started to suffocate as her vision started to get blurry. "You weak pathetic human, what did you think you could do against a ghoul? You can't do nothing but skwerm and whine like a dog"

"F-fuc-k y-you" he growls tightening his grip even more as she grabs his wrists digging her nails into his skin but he didn't even flinch as she looked into his eyes the eyes of death. She looks behind him and looks at her mother's lifeless body as a tear runs down her cheek.

Suddenly as Haileys eyes start to role back a stabbing of flesh sound was heard as the ghoul let's her go out of the sharp pain. She falls to her knees coughing as she tried to pull herself together. "You little fucken piece of shit!" He shouts as her little brother had stabbed him with a large kitchen knife.

"Leave my sis alone!" Cesar shouts at the ghoul as the ghoul takes out the life from his back. "Little back stabbing shit aren't you?" He smirks before grabbing Cesar by his hair and lifting his small body off the ground as he screams in pain and tries to kick him. Hailey suddenly losses all fear and pain as her eye sight narrows on her brother. An adrenaline courses threw her veins as she quickly stands up and runs to grab another knife. She then quickly runs and jumps pushing herself off the wall and stabs him in the back of the head. He growns in pain as he tried to reach for the knife as she runs back and runs at him before jumping in the air swinging her leg midair kicking the knife deeper into his head as he instantly falls to the ground.

"Hailey!" Her brother cries out running to her as she embraces him in her arm's and moves her hand threw his air. "Im so sorry. I'm sorry I was late" she cries to him as her brother whipes her tears away. "Its okay sis we still are here together and you saved me" he smiled hugging her as she hugs him back crying out of relief.

Soon cops had arrived as Hailey and Cesar were outside the house sitting on the curb as police March in the house. "Hailey!!" She hears someone call out to her. She looks around before seeing Sara running to her in tears as Sara tackles Hailey down. "I heard what happened and I was afraid you were dead!" Sara cries as Hailey hugs her "I'm okay Sara I'm fine" "she saved me from the bad man" Cesar adds to Haileys reply.

The sheriff comes out of the house with one of the knifes and walks to Hailey. "Excuse me worry to inturupt but do you happen to know where you got these?" He asks Hailey showing her the knife as the blade glowed a slight red. "No I don't know where, we just always had them. My mother would tell me that they were passed down from her family"

"I see. Calling in we discovered it's a G.H.F call in support" the sheriff talks to his walkie-talkie before walking away as Hailey, Sara and Cesar looked at each other confused. "G.H.F?" They said to each other. The sheriff turn around to look at them. "G.H.F stands for Ghoul Hunter Family which is a family that has passed down ghoul hunting for generations and it seems your mother was a ghoul hunter for no mere blade can penetrate their skin only a blade carved, handmade from a classified material I cannot tell you for saftry purposes" the sheriff says before turning around and leaving with the rest of the cops to investigate more.

"Hailey you know what that means?! Your a ghoul hunter!" Sara says excitedly "You don't have to go there the beginners class no more cause you have it in your blood oh my god your so lucky!" Sara continues forgetting that Hailey was still in shock from seeing her own mother being devoured.

"My mom...was a ghoul hunter?" Hailey asks herself as her skin and eyes were pale as she looked at her hands. "That moment when I lost all fear and pain...was it because I have ghoul hunting blood? That it kicked in that second which allowed me to focus to kill him? B-but I still killed someone...does that make me a murderer or a hero?"

Hailey continues to ask herself has Sara looks at her with worry in her eyes. Cesar still hugging her as the investigators come out of the house with coveted objects so no one would see what they were. They came out with about 10 items and the ghoul and her mother's body. The sheriff walks back up to Hailey.

"You're coming with me!" He demands as he grabs her by the wrist her brother pulling her back as the sheriff tries to pull her away. "Let go of my sister!" He shouts has the rest of the investigators come to restrain him and Sara from holding Hailey back as Hailey tries to reach for her brothers hand as the sheriff carries her on his shoulder.

She wiggled and wiggled crying out to her brother as her brother tries to kick and fight the investigators as they hold him down and put him inside a black car as well as Sara. "LET ME GO!!!" Hailey shouts slamming her fists on his back as he walks further away from the car heading into another.

She sees them force her brother and Sara in the black car as it drives away. Hailey struggling and biting and Kicking and scratching as she tries desperately to break free to run to her brother but it was already too late as he throws her in the car and another man sitting in the car inject something into her as she begins to grow weak her eyes feeling heavy as she continues to try to fight but slowly falls asleep.
