there was a man that I once knew

his hair was wispy, glasses askew

he had some teeth, very few

but he had some opinions too

this man

who lived to 99

he had some things to say

about the growing technology

to the generation of today

I think all elders essentially want

the same thing that he did

yet they don't know how to say it

well this man would have said:

You children must listen

the end is quite near

for phones and technology

are dominant here

when people get greedy

and obnoxious

and needy

the power from power will destroy us all

beware for the big leagues

the minor leagues

the average

are all going to race for that electronic leverage

you might be just fine with your iPhone 5s

but soon that old thing will become part of the past

look at us

look at me

it's very plain to see

that new things become old things

quite rather quickly

so keep in mind young'ens your time is quite done

this era of your life is almost run

out

of battery life.

-I'm a poet that chooses to not make that much sense.

-I find misdirection and confusion are beauty.

-and literature and love aren't all that different.
