The next morning i woke up, feeling sleepy as ever. I wasnt used to staying up late. I felt groggy, even after Maya made me a cup of coffee. Amy nagged me for wasting my time on the scrapbook. Ned was looking as fresh as ever, she was very used to staying up late. There werent any visible under eye circles on her face. She greeted me good morning brightly and whipped up a cup of coffer for herself. I banged my head on the table and groaned.
"You're gonna have a bruise on your forehead," Maya pointed out and sat across me. She set her ceral bowl on the table noisily.
"And you're gonna break the bowl," Amy nagged. "Are you really that sleepy, Lisa?"
I let out a grunt as a reply.
"I told her, making the scrapbook for boys who dont even acknowledge her existence is such a waste of time," Ned exclaimed.
"And just who helped me out last night?" I snapped.
"Milk, anyone?" Ned avoided the question and held up a carton of milk.
"No thanks," Maya rejected her offer. "Hey, Lisa, can I see your scrapbook?"
I waved a hand at her, indicating she can see it later on.
"Dont you guys have a class to attend?" Amy asked, sipping coffee.
"We do actually and we better get to it," Maya quickly cleared up her bowl and chugged down her coffee.
"HOLY SHIT ITS HOT," Maya dropped the mug and fanned her tongue frantically.
"OF COURSE IT IS, IDIOT ITS COFFEE," Amy took a handful of ice cubes and shove it down Maya's throat, literally.
I managed to give out a slight giggle and shuffled to my room. I put on a cardigan and covered my dark circles with a concealer. I didnt bother to put on my contacts so I put on my very reliable glasses. I wasnt bothered to look cute at all since I was sleepy as heck, I just put my hair up into a messy bun and went out, looking like an absolute hobo.
"I can see the effort," Maya snorted.
"Shut it, I'm sleepy," I yawned.
We walked to class quietly since I didnt have the mood to open my mouth.
"I have fiction writing, I'll see you later," Maya said and waved.
I nodded and waved at her. I watched her going into her class and I walked alone in a seperate direction. I fumbled with my tall stack of books while walking.
"Shoot, really!!!" I sighed as my books scattered all over the floor. I got on my knees and gathered my books.
"Yah, watch it!" A korean girl spat and kicked my book away.
"Well you dont have to kick it, do you ?" I snapped. "Rude ass idiot."
"I understood what you said okay," She stopped walking and glared at me.
"Great, I wanted you to," I muttered.
"YAH, JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT FROM KOREA DOESNT MEAN YOU CAN ACT LIKE WHERE YOU CAME FROM. WE HERE DO NOT TOLERATE RUDE BEHAVIOUR," She yelled at me.
I was still on my knees and looked up at her.
"Do you even know where I come from?"
"Um, the forest?" She gave me an evil grin. Her horrible two friends laughed at me.
I ignored them, trying not to vent out my anger at them. She was right, I'm not from around here, I shouldnt be so rude. I stacked my books and reached out for the book that the Mewling Quim kicked. As I reached out for the book, still on my knees, she kicked the book even further and her two sidekicks laughed.
