Once an old wise man asked me what meaning of life was to me. That was easy. I didn't even have to think. "To travel." The man asked, where I wanted to go. I knew my answer to that. I told him, I want to see the whole world. And then I told him about my biggest dream. I told him I want to see every part, get to know every culture and be fascinated by the beauty of landscapes. I want to see the children in Africa and not just spend my money on organisations. I want to speak with different people all over the world. And I want to keep all that in photographs. As I finished I saw the man smiling at me. I asked if I said anything wrong, but he just explained that he is happy, that people can still be so fascinated by something. And he told me to follow that dream. No matter what.
From that moment on, I was so sure about realizing it, that I took my backpack and drove to the airport. My next breakfast, I ate with australian roos and canoed in norways and canadas lakes. I bought food and a lot of water and helped children in Africa. I snorkeled in Egypt and saw turtles and dolphins on Maldives. I saw all the cultures and lanscapes I wanted to see and learned something new every day.
I live my dream.
So why don't you ?
