WITH FITZ
The next day Fitz noticed Sophie in the hallway and decided to do something about her ignoring him. As he walked past her, he pulled her into the nearest closet.
"What do you want!?", Sophie yelled, kicking at Fitz. Fitz grabbed her arms and calmed her. "Linh kissed me!" He said with exasperation. "I don't even like her!"
Sophie stood there. "So what?" She asked "It's not like you like me!" Fitz laughed and Sophie scowled and looked at her feet. Sophie knew he thought of her as a joke and he was trying to make her feel bad. He must have realized what she was thinking when her knees gave out and started sobbing. Fitz leaned down and lifted her head up with his thumb. "I wasn't laughing at you, Sophie. I was laughing because I know you like me and... I like you too."
Sophie inspected his face and he looked serious. She hugged him but he pulled away and...kissed her. It felt amazing even though they were in a stuffy closet and Sophie had a tear streaked face. Sophie kissed back and when they pulled away they both smiled.
"Come on Sophie. Let's get to class."
