Chapter 4- New friend?

                                             "New friend?"

~Wednessday~

So I wrote in my diary and texted Zoe last night. I miss her already. We Skyped this morning and she still looked the same when I left her. She said she would visit me soon. Well, today I finally worked up the nerve to go somewhere. I want to meet someone. I look over at my clock and it was 1:00 pm. I began to get nervous, my palms began to sweat, and i began to get chills. I decide that now is the time to go. I cant believe I'm forcing myself to do this. I am an outgoing person, but I'm just not use to making friends in a snap. I walk down my stairs.

"Mum, I'm going to the park!" i say as i slide my phone to my back pocket

"Wow, um okay" she said surprised

"What's wow?" I laugh

"Nothing, just that ever since we moved here you're always stuck indoors. But I'm happy for you dear." she smiles

"Thanks for the support mum" 

"Oh your dad and I will be coming home late since we have a meeting and lots of work to do. So there's food in the kitchen and just call me if you need anything, okay?" 

"Alright mum, bye! See you later"  i say while hugging her goodbye.

She laughs. I have a great sense of humor, I have to admit. That's one of the few things I like about myself. I walk to my car as I wore my white tank top, my black ripped short shorts from Forever 21 and my all black vans. And I just let my brown wavy hair down and I put on my Ray bans. I arrive at the park seeing alot of people. My instant reaction is "fuck it, just go" but instead i forced myself to stay put. I got out of my car and walked over to a picnic table. I see a girl sitting on a table across from me. I love her outfit. She was wearing a floral dress, and black strappy sandals. I walk over and sat down and got my phone pretending to text. She looks up.

"Hi" she said with a smile.

"Hey!" i say

"I haven't seen you before. You must be new!" she concludes.

I nod.

"Well, I'm Charlotte, you can call me Char." she said

"I'm Allie, um I don't really have a nickname." I respond

We both laugh and talk for a bit. She's the sweetest thing. We instantly become friends, and we have so much in common. Were like twins already! I was so not expecting this. 

"Allie, would you like to come to the carnival with me tonight? It'll be so much fun! Oh and you'll meet many people here in our neighbourhood." she says

"Aww sure! I would love to! What time?" i asked

"It starts at 5. We can you to your house to get your things if you'd like?" 

I looks at my watch and it was 4:30, Wow. Time goes by so fast! "Yeah sure, lets go!"

Char and I walked to my car and she gasped.

"What's wrong?" i asked Char

"This is your car?" she said pointing at my white Porshe Carrera GT

"Haha yeah" i replied

"Oh my god! i love it!" she shouted.

"Hahaha c'mon lets go!" i chuckled
