"Sure Thing"

I scooted away from Matthew, looking at the opposite side. The sight was breathtaking and it made me forget that I was sharing this moment with Matthew... unfortunately. As we slowly went higher, the lights got darker. But the sight got better. I was completely clueless of how high I was now. That was until we reached the very top the whole ride stopped. Our box sat there motionless, swaying with the wind. I, for one, did not like this for one bit. The box made a creaking noise which scared the hell outta me. Without thinking, I scooted next to Matthew.

I bit my lip. I usually do this when I'm nervous or scared. "You alright?" he asked, noticing my nature. "Yeah, I'm fine." I rushed out the words as soon as I could. he unsurely nodded and looked back at the beautiful sight, obviously knowing that I was afraid.

All of a sudden, the wind blew up, rocking the box even more. I shut my eyes, wanting to get down from here. "Yore afraid of heights aren't you?" he spoke. I gave in, nodding.

"Well, I love these kind of rides!" He added, which I really didn't care about his opinion. Until he began swaying the box. "Shit, Matthew, stop!" I said holding on to the railing with my two hands. He laughed instead of stopping. "Matthew!" I cried.

He finally stopped rocking the box when he realized I had been calling him Matthew this whole time. "Hey, why do you call me Matthew?" he scoffed.

I actually began to pay attention to what he said. I didn't want to answer wrong and embarrass myself so he could tell his friends, "Just because" I said, keeping it short and simple.

"Fine!" he stated. "I'll call you Al." "What the heck?" I laughed a little. As he made a cocky face. "Alright Al, tell me about yourself." I looked up to see Cameron and Char having a pretty good time. I smiled. I sighed, and decided to talk to Matthew. "Well, my name is Allie Shay. Emphasizing the 'Allie' part. I am 15, and I just recently moved here." I left it at that. The ride began to move, as I looked away and kept quiet. Matthew looked up at Cameron and Char. "Wanna embarrass them?" he asked in excitement. I nodded trying no to laugh.

"Get some Cameron!" I yelled. "Char, Cameron wants you!" Matthew yelled. We both bursted in laughter. Matthew's laugh was hilarious. I didnt know if I was laughing about his laugh or our comments. "Your laugh" I said in between laughter. He tried to frown but bursted into laughter.

And unfortunately, Char and Cameron did the same thing to Matthew and I. "Yeah Matt" Cameron shouted. "Matthew Espinosa getting cozy" Char yelled from above. "Allie get some of that", Char laughed out loud. My cheeks imidiatley flushed red, as well as Matthews. But thank god the ride finally ended and so we finally got off.

"That was quite a ferris wheel ride guys" Char giggled. "Worst one yet." I said while crossing my arms. We all ran and played many game. As Char and I challenged the boys on who can collect the most tickets and the giant stuffed toy. Let the games begin.
