Newt's POV
After what seemed like forever in the helicopter we finally landed. The men told us to get inside so we did what we were told. We got thrown into a room and waited for a couple minutes until a man and a girl came. I thought I knew the girl from somewhere, but I couldn't tell. She whispered something into the man's ear and then left.
"You kids alright? Sorry about all the fuss, there was a swarm, but everything is good now. I'm Janson and the girl who just left is my daughter Y/N, a man finally said. I was thinking about the girl, Y/N, I know her from somewhere, at least I think so. The man gestured us to follow him so we did.
Janson let us take a shower to get rid of our horrid smell. After I finished I changed into a new set of clothes, they were clean and soft, different from the clothes I wore in the Glade. When I finished changing I was brought into a room to get some shots. Later on I went into the cafeteria with my friends and talked to some other people we met.
I saw the girl again, she was talking to a boy with dark hair and a hoodie on. She waved at him then left the cafeteria. My eyes followed her as I saw her talking to Janson, or Ratman, as Minho called him. She smiled and came back in and went towards me. I became really nervous, but for what? I didn't even know her she just looks familiar.
"Hi I'm Y/N,you must be the people of Group A," she said with a sweet voice to Minho and I.
Before I could say anything Minho interfered and asked, " Group A? What do you mean? Also your Ratma- I mean Janson's daughter right?"
She explained to us what Group A was, it was only one of the mazes and that another maze, Group B had all girls and one guy, the opposite of ours. She also said that the other guy she was talking to was the only guy in Group B and that his name is Aris.
My friends left while I stayed behind with Y/N and talked to her. "Y'know when I saw you, I thought I knew you from somewhere," I admitted. "I thought the exact same thing, but I couldn't believe it," she replied.
After an hour of talking Janson had come to us to take her away and sent me to my bedroom with all the other boys. When I came in everyone looked at me until Minho said something, " So you back from your girlfriend?" Winston, Fry Pan, and Thomas laughed and mocked me but I just went to my bed and ignored them.
Y/N's POV
My dad had taken me to his office and started bothering me like " What were you doing with Newt?" and " If you even think about him you'll be sent to the isolation room!". After that was done I went into my room, locked the door, and went inside the vents to meet up with Aris.
*A few minutes after crawling through the vents and finally finding Aris' room*
"Aris!" I surprised him, " Did you show Thomas yet?" Without saying anything, he nodded and helped me to my feet
Aris told me he showed Thomas where the people going to "paradise" actually went. I was hoping Thomas would try to escape so he can take Aris and I with him and his friends through the Scorch to the Right Arm.
