"Why didn't you do as I say?!" Elisse gasped for air, feeling herself being suffocated from someone's hands wrapped around her neck.
Her eyes rolled back yet her sense of smell never failed to inform her that it was him. She couldn't see in this darkness as she laid on the bed, struggling to get out of his grip with her hands trying to push him away but his hands continue to tightened around her neck even more.
If she were a mere human, she would easily die. And she couldn't even breathe anymore from him strangling her to death with her neck bones starting to produce the sound of cracks from the pressure.
"H-Help me!" She tried to let out a word but ended up choking her own words. She was being suffocated, and her hands continued to roam for a way out but her strength was not even one-eight to his power.
"Elisse?" A soft voice was heard behind the doors as a knock was followed making Elisse's entire body to jolt up as her system panicked at Ha Na's sudden appearance. "Are you sleeping?"
"H-Ha Na." Elisse wanted to scream to get Ha Na our of the house, but she couldn't as she was shaking vulnerably underneath his body.
The Duke chuckled in evil way, and tightly squeezing his hands around her neck, pushing her back further on the bed.
Because he knew that she wouldn't die by this method, and only suffer in this agonising pain because she's a vampire after all.
"I guess it won't be wrong to have a little fun." He whispered with his attractive accent, and her fist clenched, glaring at his face that she could not even see in this darkness.
She was utterly hoping that he would be able to clearly see her disgust expression but then, she was again suffocated by his strong hands around her neck causing her to shriek in pain, and Ha Na who was outside seemed that she did not hear a sound at all.
"Don't ever h-hurt her." She choked out her words again, trying to intimidate the man. And with those words alone, she felt his hands loosen this time making her breathe properly and heard the window cracked signalling that he has left already.
"Elisse?" Ha Na's voice called, still knocking on her door many times as she tried to catch her breath and panting heavily.
Elisse bit her lips, coughing silently by covering her mouth with her palms. She breathed in and out, calming herself before she sat up properly. "Ha Na? I-Is something wrong?"
She didn't expect this to happen at all as she thought she was safe and he would not do anything risky but she was wrong. Perhaps, spending the night in Ha Na's house would be a bad idea because she almost put her best friend in a more dangerous situation.
