chapter two: learning the truth

"Ash!!!! Ash wake up!!"
"Just pick her up Bram we will take her with us and get outta here"
"No Blake we can't do that."
I could hear there voices but I'm so tired. But I was suddenly jerked out of my sleep. Bram had started shaking me.
"Yes!!! Yes!! What's happening!!"
"Ash we gotta go like now!"
He helped me up and into Blake's truck. Blake started driving really quickly. He said that he could feel them coming and Bram agreed. They were talking about I wasn't sure at all. I was looking out the windows of the truck I was looking at the back window I was looking to the side windows and I was looking at the front but I saw nothing coming. And then Brown started telling me why we had to get out of town so quick.
"Ash you are an orphan but that's because your parents were try I g to protect you, you were too strong at a young age and people were coming after your powers. They were going to steal you and drain your life because that is the only way to take your powers. They have to keep you alive while draining your life if they don't then your power gets lost and we don't know how long it so someone like you comes back again. Last time I happened it was 100 years ago. My parents told me stories about the girl, the Forgotten.
"Ok I don't know what you mean. I don't know what you're talking about you sound so crazy. Powers. what do you mean about power what kinds of. Girl that I know I don't have any powers. I just turned 18 and you're talking to me crazy like there is magic in this world. You broke up with me. I thought true love was magic I didn't believe it was real. And then I started going out with you and then I started to believe."
" Ash magic is real. it is!! You have power me and Blake can feel it cuz we trained for some love but u haven't so ur power has been dormant for all there years. Your power is that you can copy anybody's powers just by touching the person and you Don't need to touch them again to use it again you can just keep their powers. U have my powers..."
Suddenly these three bikers came out of nowhere driving quickly you behind us. Blake tried driving faster but he couldn't keep away from them for long. We finally ended up having to pull over so we wouldn't get in a crash and they both got out. I didn't know what they were doing I didn't know where the bike was coming after us and why they followed us after they pulled over. All three bikers slowly got off their bikes out of nowhere they start fighting but it wasn't a normal fight. One of the guys had fire coming out of his hands and another made a stick turn into a deal sword. The third guy was coming towards me In the truck. He opened the door ant threw me out and I landed far from the fight I realized this guy had supper strength. I got up and looked towards where I got thrown from. He was running towards me and I was going g to have to fight for my life. He was coming closer by the second d and I was waiting to punch him like that would do anything. She came as close as possible and finally I punched him in the gut and he flew back 10 feet. He looked at me surprised and I look down at my hand surprises as well. How did I just do that I'm not that strong. And then I remembered...Bram. I ran towards him and landed a few more punches and with each hit I was hurting him more, like my power was getting stronger each time i touched him. I finally got him so tired I picked him,hitting his jaw upwards and threw him up high in the air. But when he landed he didn't bleed. He started turning into red dust and was gone. Except for an orb that was left behind I touched it and it was being absorbed into my skin. I turn to find Bram and I saw him fighting the guy with the swords. Each time Bram grabbed his sword he would freeze it and brake it. I ran to help him. I thought of freezing the guy. Bram did say I had his powers. So I grabbed the guy by his shoulder and he started freezing spreading from his shoulder till he completely froze. I tossed him up like the other guy and all that was left was an orb.
"you take it I cant use it."
I touched the orb and we looked at each other.
"A little help over here"
We both looked at Blake and he was turning objects into tiny warriors that looked so cute. But the guy was burning them all. We both ran towards Blake but the guy saw us coming and turned one of his hands towards us and fire started its way towards us. I closed my eyes and stuck my hands out hoping it would stop. And then I heard a sizzling sound. Like when bacon touches a hot surface. I Opened my eyes and Bram was right next to me and we were both stoping the fire it was turning into Steam with the touch of our hand.
"I got this Ash u got help my brother."
"OK"
I pulled away and I did my best to keep quiet and sneak up right behind him I touched his shoulder but he didn't freeze. He knew I was there and i didn't know what to do but then I saw his feet move and I grabbed a stick and in my hand turned into a medal bat. I hit him over the head and Blake's little army trampled over him. Then I saw the red dust and they stopped. They Turned back into rocks and leaves and sticks with a snap of Blake's fingers, and there sitting in the middle of it was a orb.
"Pick it up and let's go we can't touch it didn't Bram already tell u That?"
"I told her!!" Bram yelled at his brother
I touched the orb and it faded with my touch again and I stood up and we all walked back to the truck.
Blake started the car and started to speak "they came after her its not going to be long till someone else finds out she is of age."
Then something touched my foot, then suddenly it was gone. I looked at the bikes the 3 guys were on.
"help"
"Bram.... Blake did u hear that???"
They both replayed "heard what"
I stared ant the bikes more I heard it louder this time but with crying "someone please help me"
"Stop the car!"
They stopped the car and i ran to the bikes and saw one of the seats moving. As I came up next to the bike I tried to figure out how the seat opens. Bram and blake were right behind me but on of blades warriors opened the set from the inside.
"There was a rock in the inside and i thought it been easy on you if u didn't open it."
"Thanks blake"
I opened the top of the seat and there was a guy sitting in there he wiped his face and acted like he wasn't crying he got out and ran he was gone within seconds.
"Who was that boy" I said
"Who cares we have to protect you." Blake said grabbing first my hand then Bram's hand. dragging us to the car and we left.
