The next morning Usagi felt the bed empty next to him and panicked for a moment before he smelled food being cooked in the kitchen. He got out of bed and dressed wanting to see Miskai as soon as he could.
Miskai quickly made breakfast looking up when Usagi appeared on the stairs. He couldn't stop the blush that crept into his face. He couldn't believe his own actions in the shower last night when he initiated another round. He shook his head jumping when Usagis arms wrapped around him. He hadn't noticed the other man coming near him.
He felt himself start to react to the simple touch and became even more embarrassed. Usagi kissed his bright red cheek. "Are you trying to make it harder to let you go?"
The husky raspy voice only made Miskai more excited. "No just don't want you to forget me. I figure I should also try to show you what you mean to me." He could hear the sharp intake of breath. He arms around him tightened and felt Usagi kiss the top of his head. "I love you so much Miskai." Usagi said.
The door suddently bust open. "Usami Sensei, what happened?! You were to send in the last chapters last night! Where are they?" Aikawa burst into the living area.
Of course Usagi didn't move from his arms around Maskai and the younger man resisted the urge to jump and shove the older man away as he always did. Aikawa already knew about their relationship, how could she not after the compromising positions she's found them in, not to mention Usagis BL novels being based off of them.
If he was going to tell Nii-chan about their relationship he figured he should get used to people seeing them this way. "Usagi, you had more work to do?" Miskai scolded.
Usagi was immensely surprised he wasn't immediately shoved away, which made it even harder to let go on his own. "I was a little busy, something important came up and I couldn't ignore it." Usagi shrugged still clinging to Miskai.
"More important than your job? Your deadline?" She yelled.
Miskai did push him back now as he started to plate their food. "Have breakfast with us, then Usagi get your work done. I have to go to work then I have an appointment. I'll be home a little later than normal but should be in time to make dinner."
Aikawa sighed "thank you Miskai." She sat down and glared at Usagi who sat across from her. "So what was more important than work?" She pressed.
"Maskai." He haswered simply and watched at the younger man's face grew red. The smile feel from his own face however. "Maskai is going to be getting his own place, he told me last night. I was distracted and wouldn't have written anything worth a damn. Though I do have some new ideas for my next BL novel."
Miskai nearly choaked on his own food and refused to look at either of the others at the table. Usagi smiled, the younger man was still so easy to tease.
"What? Moving? I depend on your help." Aikawa moaned exasperated. "Why are you moving? It doesn't look like your relationship has changed."
Aikawa didn't seem to distinguish between private and public matters. Miskai thought to himself. To his horror Usagi answered.
"It hasn't, in fact it's the best it's ever been and he won't be gone forever. His brother won't sotp pestering him about getting his own place. Miskai things it's best to be on his own before telling his brother about us. You see his brother is a dear old friend of mine. Maskai is trying to shave our friendship. He's worried how his bother will react."
"Well that sounds reasonable. I don't know how Usami sensei will survive without you. You take such good care of him, cooking, cleaning, making sure he doesn't keel over and keep him on tract with his deadlines. Do you have a realtor?"
Makai nodded his head glancing at Usagi. "That's the appointment I have today. To look at a few places."
It was Usagi's turn to almost choke. "Already? I didn't think it would happen that fast."
"I'm just looking. Now that I've made up y mid I want to get on with it. Sooner I move out, the sooner I can move back in." He finished his meal. "I'll see you tonight. Have a good day Aikawa. Sorry about the chapters. I thought he was done."
She waved it off. "Don't worry, it's his fault for waiting until the last minute."
In the hall Maskai put his shoes on and was startled when he head Usagi behind him. "Maskai?" He turned round, Usagi sounded so sad. Before he could stop himself or think about it he stood o tip toes and kissed Usagi a nice gentle kiss. He was rewarded by Usagi's smile. "Have a good day." Usagi said ruffling his hair before turning back to the living room door.
Maskai's face was glowing as he left the building.
