"Take out your pencils," Mrs. Haggleworth, or Mrs. H, ordered. "Time for your test on World War II."
"Ughh," everyone groaned, excepted for me, Sophia Williams.
"You had a week to prepare for this test," Mrs. H snapped. "But you guys probably didn't, except for Sophia Williams of course."
I just sat there awkwardly. I always hated when teachers pointed out that I was the only one who studied. To be honest, I never studied and I still got 100% on every test. I remembered everything in my mind.
Right as Mrs. H was about to hand out the tests, her phone started ringing. She told us to wait a minute and answered the phone. After just 5 seconds of being on the phone, her expression immediately changed. She looked worried. Everyone was curious about what was going on. She turned on the projector and set it to the news. What the guy on the news said is something I will remember forever.AN: Sorry this chapter is so short. I wanted to have a chapter for this story out and ready to read.
